Should I switch to Viena?

So I’m a 330 full SPR Chap>Inq, and I attack with my +11 Pajoritas Dagger (2 slots). Still using a 5-hammer but will switch out to my 2-slotted Krendall soon after I slot it with 6* reds.

With this setup, I wait it out until I get my first Practo. This waiting got me thinking though: is it worth switching to Viena and sacrifice the 42 Spirit I get from my Krendall? Is the damage that much more considering I’m already hitting with a +11 lvl220 dagger?

Or should I just overup my dagger (it still has 5 potential left minus the two slots) and wait it out (probably 'til kingdom come) when I’m able to get my Skull Smasher or luck out with a Solmiki?

Yet another option is to probably hunt/buy a better 2-slotted dagger (Purine Pevo?).

For more context, I got C3 as my R7. I don’t really see that many skills benefiting from an added Int (top of mind is Cure, Heal damage, Exo and ME).

You forgot INT affects Aspersion because it’s magic… and it’s where Aspergillum is getting its damage.

Also, Vienarasis Mace has +Min and +Max Attack (affects all damage).

If you don’t feel like you’re lacking in output, then no need ofc.

Indeed! I’m not really sure whether I’m lacking in damage. Agh, quite a quandary. You went for Viena though right @DiMeowgio?

Yes, and I +11’d it and got it awakened and had one Lv7 Red Gem in socket (working on the next one). Didn’t trans it though (too useful for alts). :smiley:

EDIT: Better yet, just go ahead and make one regardless, it’s easy enough to trade back for a Practonium (+other stuff) as it is in high demand.

And you roll with a Lionhead Shield with that right? 1 or 2 slots (if you don’t mind my asking)?:slight_smile:

Lionhead is fixed at 1 slot, mine used to be +10, but anvils happened and it’s now +8. You’re better off sticking to your 2 slot Pajoritas Dagger for DPS. I just like the shield for the looks.

it really depends… but i suggest you go to emmet forest and alembique cave and try to kill monsters there… if you’re satisfied at how fast you can kill/farm those monsters then you don’t need to switch to vien mace, maybe save the pract and resources for a skull smasher later…

five hammer is weak

only good thing is aoe+5 that help u kill low level mob
