Should I sue Steam?

lel b4 i even clicked on the thread i was like “you probably dont even know how to sue steam”

lol i got another one
“go back to hiding under a little kids bed” - though of that in school today when an old lady told me to get off the computer

i am on a roll

Heh. Ok I reply like a serious attorney.

ToS and Disclaimers are not law.

Mistake of Fact alone would be one ground for in validation

Res Ipsa can also be argued

Negligence can be grounds for invalidation

Non conforming Goods

Marketable Warranty of goods sold, have to research more.

Any suit can be brought, ToS/ Disclaimers do not impede this but goid try Ser Advocate.

You would be wrong about not knowing how to sue steam btw. It is not Hard. Much easier than bringing a divorce action or petition for custody/ visitation.

Well, you will lose.
Even if the game is broken, you cant tell that this was B2P because all you already did with your character will continue, and since other thousand players already reached even the max rank, you have no excuse, and bugs are real common on recently released games.
Tibia for example, have more than 10 years and still have bugs, people cant just sue game companies for that, even more if the companie tells you that they are trying to correct the problem.

If you can’t play, you can ask for compensation like rewards, but if in the contract you signed that they can shut down the game to make maneitance, you dont even diserve the compensation, they do it for a matter of marketing.

You can sue the company if they block you as if you was a bot, or delete you with a unfair motive. That is a big case for sue, but for “problems on the begin of the game?” please haha, the judge will look at you, and make you lose ten times what you spended on the game or more.

I’m sorry, but you have time to play TOS as an attorney?
Amazed o

By all means then sue them. Go through the legislation; hell go through the hoops and fight the litigation. You better have the time and money to fight their attorneys.
Taking a hit for 60 dollars or a little more maybe better for you in the long run. If not, for justice I commend your efforts and wish you luck.
Everyone technically hates steam deep inside anyway.

yeah it was a joke

/20deadseas

theres a hidden joke in here :wink:

You should work on it.

Not much but yes, In down time cell+ Laptop or wifi, lot of waiting around as an attorney.

Edit: Also being self employed has perks, although my boss is a total @hole, and you know time off/ insomnia nights etc etc.

@kazamatenkai

Lol no, none of this. Don’t be a lawyer.

@johnyhyun007

Not that hard at all. Just forms and some time.

you people are get so salty so quick, i can taste the salt from here

Wut? Sorry don’t have a clue mate…
Can I buy a vowel?

are u some idiot? or something? founders pack are legit…

just because u dont like to play very early and help the team doesnt mean u should say ■■■■ about companies…

Founders packs exist to help the teams behind the game u loser.

i didnt even ask a question

Better be a class action.

No I don’t understand your reference is what I am saying.

@simonlvschal

Your conclusion is drawn incorrectly and lacks weight

@IceCold

Does not have to be, Personally class actions are not particularly helpful to the class, unless it is very small or there is a very large payout and a limitation on legal fees, and other costs.

nope… your just in dire need of a brain

You actually have no case to sue Steam. If you read the Steam Subscriber Agreement, any product purchased through Steam means you are in a contract with Valve. The Founder Packs were represented as they were stated on the store page. Any information about transfers and such are provided via hyperlinks and Steam specifically says that outside sources not listed on the store page itself has no bearing on the product.

Simply put, you got what you paid for. Valve is smart. You have no case.

To The Honorable Judge Computer Chair,

Please go on.

@simonlvschal

^ I use your post to answer your post. See what I did there? Fixed it too.

None of you read or understand the OP, those who do have wisely remained silent or don’t care.

The rest of you…
Your Law Fu is not strong enough.
