Hello, I got rank 7 and chose shinobi as class. I found out some bugs and others things. I dont know if its intentional, but here it comes:

Bunshin no jutsu (lvl5): (1) when im atacking an enemy or mob (basic atack), some clones are out ranged, they atack but far away, so no dmg at all. They dont follow the enemy and atack it.
(2): When im fighting quest bosses, i cant use bunshin. Somestimes it even doesnt work when im hunting monsters (just to let you know, they dont hit me). You see the cooldown, but nothing happens.
Bunshin +kunai: you can use the kunai skill 2 times. When i use bunshin and then kunai for the first time, it hits the enemys/ mobs, but when i do it again, it fails. Almost always.
Kunai: the dmg is so low. I lvled the skill to 20 (skill master) and still low compared to my others skills.
Katon no jutsu and Mijin no jutsu + bombs: you need bombs to use these skills. The bombs cost 300 silver each, which is expensive… (priest holy water is 50silver). And you need 2 bombs to use Katon no jutsu, and 5 bombs to use Mijin no jutsu.
I lvled them to 1, just to see what they do. The dmg was not surprising.

I tried to pvp some1 with bunshin+ kunai: no dmg at all. Even when it says 5x dmg (lvl 5).

Just to let you know, im lvl 240, and im using magas sword and karacha dagger. My equips are just fine. Got high str and dex.

so your using sword / slash weapons as a primary weapon and not spear / pierce? perhaps thats why your dmg is so low?

Haha no , not just use spear… he’s talking about the pierce build… well urs is fine its not bugg you just need to read more regarding shinobi, combos and buffs to use

are u a shinobi? did u test the skills? do u know any combo? Btw, my build has corsair c2, thats why i use one handed/ dagger. I never saw a video of shinobi using spear (at least the korean one) lol

I use up around 300 silver/ 2 minutes. When im grinding.
And im using the low cost traps…

I got 10k ash wood in my storage which is enough for 3333 broom traps.
Just worth 120k.
And gone in around 6~12 days, regarding how fast i grind.
( around 37 hours of grinding)

And that’s not counting pots to upkeep my spam skills … bow repairs as each hit ticks away on it.

I like how people comment about how you should build your “own” character.
Also I like how someone talks about how much they spend on their class. Good for you.

Nobody talks about the bugs because they are too busy talking about how you should play your own class/saying how much money they spend on their class.

So yea, about that bug. Sounds like both Corsair and Shinobi are full of bugs.

IE: Jolly Roger (FEVER) buff never goes away and keeps on stacking. Also Jolly Roger cant be stacked onto one place since if the previous flag goes away you wont regain your buff. So you gotta walk out and back in to reproc the buff. Minor but still not how the skill should work.

Is one of the most idiotic things I’ve read. I guess that means if you want to play as a Corsair you should build Swordsman-cata-hop-hop-corsair just because damage is a little better. Hmmmmmmmm, I see someone jumps onto a bandwagon all the time without individuality.

by all means, go ahead and use bash with a spear and or thrust with a mace and see how that works you stupid idiot.

In Maplestory, Dragon knights are given a polearm and a spear, but two of the same damaging skills, both output different dmg depending on the weapon used

Thank you for understand. PPL like to say that u did something wrong but dont say anything helpfull. I totally agree with you. I think that corsair need some changes too.

just 300silver/2 minutes??? each bomb of shinobi costs 300 silver, it means that in 2 minutes ill spend much more than you, since each skill you need to use 2/5 bombs.

ppl say kunai is pierce dmg, but what should i do if my build needs one handed sword? cuz of slash dmg (highlander c3). skyliner and crosscut are slash. Should i give up on my magas sword and go for brandish?

Why would you use Bash as a Corsair. That’s just hilarious. Learn the class before talking about skills that are nonexistent with a certain class.

Maplestory? Why are you talking about a game that has set classes that need a certain type of weapon to deal a good damage output. This game has absolutely nothing to do with Maple.

All I hear is “Cry Cry Cry”… No one asked if you play corsair what level you are/how much geared you are. You can be a level 300 for all I care and still be unable to play the class correctly. Being a certain level just means you’ve been playing a longer time. Has nothing to do with skill and the knowledge of the class. If you want to cry about something go cry somewhere else because no one actually gives a flying F.

You mean can’t read right since obviously you shouldn’t be hearing something that has been written somewhere else. Oh, and obviously it’s getting to ya… Since you had to put in the effort to put a little picture up. Thanks for letting everyone know who the little childish baby is. :3

The skills are actually bugged it has nothing to do with weapon choice the damage low or not shouldn’t completely not exist which is what the person was mentioning… People are so on this forum warrior kick that they don’t even bother to read the post they just go off on how insert class here sucks, or how weapon choice sucks etc. If I was to say one of my wugushi skills isn’t doing it’s correctly posted damage and mentioned I’m 80% con someone would chime in that my build sucks and the flat damage which it’s supposed to do isn’t functioning because of my 120 con. (example my skill actually works fine). But that is the equivalent of what you guys are saying. The damage type is pierce not the damage base, and if it isn’t doing it’s listed base damage (minus def of mob) then that is an inherent bug. Which considering kunai at times don’t do damage at all on the 2nd cast… Pay attention and take your build mongering somewhere else.

Sidenote bash doesn’t do less damage if your using a two hand spear a mace or a 1hd sword, same with thrust it doesn’t do more damage with a spear or a mace. It just chaages the damage output type if you have 300-300 min max damage and use thrust with a mace, then thrust with a spear the only thing that will cause any less damage is monster armor type monster def. ffs people…

I’m am not a shinobi but I’ve did some research and know some shinobis.

First of all, don’t listen to what some retard says about your build. Using a sword(slash) with a pierce type skill still does pierce damage.

1 - This is not a bug, it has always been this way and I suppose its intended.
2 - This happens to almost every skill in this game, some times you take damage during animations and the skill goes on cd without going out.
3 - Kunai with clones not working is either a bug or maybe the same situation on *2 is happening with the clones, have you tested this with a friend ?
4 - Kunai does low damage, but its has some range e can be copied by bunshins.

Overall I think you just need to get used to the class.
