Well, I wanted to be a shinobi since the beggining and now Im rank 7. I found out now that you need to do many things to complete the quest (not complaining about the “many things”, it should be hard), BUT i didnt know it was A LUCKY QUEST. Its not effort, its lucky, since you need to wait for a flower you dont know exactly when will respaw, and other ppl want it too. Also, to get the quest, you need to be lucky either. Dont depends on you.
Now im stuck at rank 7 waiting hours for this flower to respaw.

How is finding a random spawning npc not effort? sigh…
These classes are not supposed to be common or easy. That is why it takes a lot of time invested to get it.

Do u call it effort when 11231313141 players are looking for a flower that respaw in 312313 hours? the luckiest person wins, simple.
Yes because if you actually made the effort to stay there until you got what you needed then you deserve it. If you aren’t willing to put in the time then you don’t deserve it more than anyone who actually is.

man this takes me back… I remember when I did the Ninja job quest in RO, you needed to go inside a house that was hidden behind a tree, and then go trough a fake wall to get to the ninja NPC, it was tons of fun, specially when nobody knew where or how to get the quest

But aren’t ninjas supposed to be patient and well trained elite forces that can keep on hiding on the ceiling for hours? I think it’s a good idea to ensure you have the right mindset to be able to role play one in the game

U know what happens when u been waiting for 5 hours for a flower to respaw and some1 stole it? is it effort?
If you’re alert and start collecting it at the same time, you’ll both get it. I remember reading someone saying it and that’s how it is for most other stuff you need to gather too.
And it’s kind of matter of choice, you can use the same tactic and just go check the spot every now and then too. It’s less likely to succeed but no one forces you to wait for the whole time.
And if poop happens, then you just have to wait for it to spawn again. If there’s no risk involved, it wouldn’t be much of a challenge and people would feel it less of an accomplishment when they finally get that class. Then they can go showing off for everyone because they’ve deserved it.
RPGs and quest methods like this disgust me. Allowing a HUGE gapped RNG process that only a lucky few obtain instead of giving a fair ballfield to someone that wants to enjoy the game the same. Basically the only person that never had a struggle to acquire this quest item was the very first person.
Took me 20mins to switch some channels in order to get the flower THERE ARE 6 CHANNELS. I also had the other 2 hidden items from exploring maps before even looking up the shinobi guide. The real hard part for me was getting the other materials like colifly stamen. Overall took me a day to finish gathering everything it wasn’t too hard. Seriously you guys are giant cry babies that cry about everything.

FUUU I Lost again /20chars
You probably can make a party so all 5 people get quest completion… It works with every other game quest, so its highly likely to work on this as well. Doing this amplifies your chances of completion by a whooping 500% 
this, so much this.
IDK about most people but when I think of a HIDDEN class, I want it to be a difficult process that only the dedicated few can obtain. Even 1 days worth of preparation is too low in my opinion though.

This is sparta! I’m now on day 8 of 24/7 camping the flowers and nothing. I’ve litterally just sat there from when I wake up till I go to sleep. There’s 4 other people trying to get it that keep coming and going none of us have seen it yet.
Of course and so it should be, but not based on RNG. RNG can mean you will never get it because its, well, RNG! You can land on black 20 times in a row. There’s a response from a staff member on another thread confirming that the spawn time is “random”, not to mention that only 1 spawns per server so if there 10 people that want to be a shinobi, there’s going to be some pissed off people.
I’ve made an effort, more than most. Over 100 hours so far waiting for this flower. Does that mean I deserve to get the flower? Not really, because it’s random, it could spawn in front of someone that’s only been there 10 minutes and not the guy that’s been there 2 weeks. Games aren’t coded to reward people like that, so you shouldn’t just assume things will work out that way.
So do I just give up on shinobi? It would mean I have to give up on my character because everything I’ve done so far was working towards shinobi from stats, build and gear. Also staying there for over a week has dropped my ranking down from 1XX to 280 and going down more everyday… this is not “special” or “difficult” just a cock-block from playing the game. What’s wrong with a feat of skill or having to defeat a difficult boss or hey even something to do with ninja’s.
Anyway, I’m giving it 1 more day then I’ll probably just give up and play Overwatch. Not prepared to waste any more time after that staring at those bloody mango’s.
Get friends or guildies to drop by and check that area for you and add them on skype or something so they can tell u when they see it, at least you’ll be able to grasp its time and count 4 hrs.
