I would like to endorse a “Territorial War”.
Most users are familiar with GvG scenario which are often a castle siege that involve mostly breaking through a choke point battle and destroying a key structure inside the enemy keep.
The territorial war I am endorsing has more to do with skirmish battles than breakthrough battles. The jist of a Territorial war is capturing territories for your guild. These territories comprises of almost all the non instance maps outside of a city/town. The more territories a guild captures the more prizes and higher guild buff they get. A system like this existed in an old IMC game called Colony War.
why a Territorial battle?

As you know ToS can only handle 100 players in a single channel. Unlike a traditional castle siege, a territorial war will force players to spread the player population across multiple locations, instead of focusing combat on few locations. Also with limited players population inside a single channel, this becomes a part of a strategy. Though this number can be tweaked for such a scenario.

Since maps are designed differently with multiple entry points and some classes even allowing teleportation, the is less chance for a choke point battle and most often result into tactical skirmishes and guerrilla tactics and whatever creative strategies a player can employ.
-
ToS has over 200+? and counting maps where battle guilds can compete in capturing territories.
-
the classes in ToS reflect the characters in IMC’s previous game which skill design revolves around this territorial battles.

Territorial battles would spark the most favorite event in all of MMORPGs GvG content
#SPICY HOT GUILD DRAMAS
due to espionage and betrayals and alliances.
6 . Finally, a territorial battle allows the players to utilize the many obscure locations in the world map IMC has made that are often forgotten after a player finishes their quests.
With that said I present to you the playground of a territorial war will be held at.
Yup, everywhere. and IMC was also planning to create new continents once they are finished with the current one.
I would also like to share my nostalgic experience with the territorial war in the old IMC game.
So back in the old days, the server I was on had a single Mega Super Guild, which controls most of the territories, they only accepted the most powerful PvP players and would often bribe the strongest players from other guild and rivals to join their ranks. This lead to so many betrayals and guilds disbanding. The Mega Super Guild also had Vassal guilds that do their bidding.
The guild I was on was a Unified guild where the from the many disbanded guilds member .The Unified Guild cannot take on Mega Super Guild directly; so guerrilla tactics were involved feints and diversion attacks as well as coordinating attacks with other guilds not in alliance with the Super Mega Guild and its Vassals.
The tactics involve scouting teams with stealth characters reporting enemy movement particularly the most OP unkillable characters of the Super Mega Guild and finding out weak spots and enemy activity in map and inside cities and towns.
A combat team with PvP gears and a logistical support team of healers, CC and resu are there to fight and hold of enemy reinforcements.
And a “breaking team” which characters equip solely for to destroying structures quickly like, canoneers, builders, and summoners, are often in staging areas waiting for the order to capture a territory.
The flow of the strategy was to attack multiple lightly defended enemy territories but not capture it. And then we wait until the event is about to end in like 10 to 15 mins left and capture as many territory as possible with in the time frame. Because we have no capabilities to defend them

Rinse repeat and read following drama in the forums
Territorial war isnt unique to GE as other MMORPG has them aswell, but with more flexible character builds in ToS there would be more flavours for a Territorial war in ToS.
thank you for reading the large wall of text. may you be a part of this endeavor.
lasty:
also I hope Guild also get to design their emblems but limit it to decals on a shield base like heraldry.
