Shark Cutter bleed not working?

Character info:
Level 235 / 7 Rank 7
Using a Sw3 / Pelt1 / Corair2 / doppel1

Been keeping an eye on the enemies HP bar to see if the bleed would happen.

I noticed that some people complained that the bleed is really lame but I actually haven’t ever even seen it once.

I tried not using a dagger and just normal attacking with this weapon and I have still yet to see the bleed apply to any monster.

I also tested this out in pvp, wasn’t Proc’ing at all.

I expected it to work like this video. After several hits you can see the bleed get applied.

This sucks, this weapon absolutely sucks when it’s bleed mechanics are completely faulty.

Please let me know if I need to provide more info or even make a video to show that it NEVER happens.

Edit: I have noticed that the bleed says 5% on Skill Attack. Tested this too, I have Hexen Dropper… It hits a lot, zero bleed Proc.

i remember when i use on boss and mob. the dot was invisible but still hit like 2-3k every 2 sec. the bad thing is when its stak just renew the duration don’t apply more damage or something else. and the 5 stack hit loocks very weak like the multi hit from trust of sword 1

tis weapon needs some love. almost for pve

Try to do a controlled test with a friend dueling to see how much damage the DOT does, if it stacks properly, then what actually affects damage. They could have something stupid like matk increasing damage for all we know. One thing I do remember from my time playing was if you stacked elemental added damage and got hit with a DOT from an enemy it actually hurt you for that much more.

Not sure if they fixed that but might give insight on scaling damage and figuring out mechanics.

I have tried Shark Cutter with Featherfoot’s Blood bath which is also labelled as a [Bleeding] Debuff. Tried it with Blood Dagger’s (Proc from AA) Bleeding Debuff as well.

Sadly Shark Cutter’s Debuff only procs from skills with a 5% Chance, and the Auto Attack x 5 Buff only triggers from Shark Cutter’s very own Bleeding debuff.

Seem like each skill has a different code to them despite all of them being labelled as [Bleeding]

Here’s my thread on the issue as well (Somewhat related)
