Yes I recommend full CON. I am dealing decent damage w/ Umbo blow (2000+) with low STR and having 5K HP is glorious.
If you go full con, it’ll probably have to be AFTER a stat reset scroll.
International:

27 STR, 56 CON, 17 SPR (w/ equip bonuses)
No, this amount of STR doesn’t give me much of a damage boost. SPR can be worked around by having cloth armor and the attribute.

I started off as Wizard > Pyromancer. Allocated 2:1 int to spr.
I enjoyed the class early levels, but as time went on, the damage wasn’t scaling well compared to how much SP the spells used.
So I created an Archer > Archer, which was great for grinding. I put my stats into mostly Dex and tried to maintain a 2:1 ratio with Str. Once I got a Seeker bow (increase Crit Rate by 20) and Vubbe Fighter Gloves (increase Str by 10), you hit a huge power spike and you can grind forever.
However, when I try to solo grind, I always get out damaged by Swordsman. I’m about to start working on a swordsman now to see how it is.
Made a full INT Pyro it is glorious… too bad I run out of MP fast as I haven’t been placing gems into my armor to increase SP regen. SP is a real problem with full INT build. Perhaps I’ll try a 4:1 INT to SPR ratio next time since I wanna be a full nuker.
Mostly tested clerics.
- 1:1 STR:INT: Quite good and fun but I always had a feeling I’m a “master of none”
. Full STR: Good for solo since between the cooldown you just smack the mobs with str weapon - Full INT: Amazingly powerful spells, but melee damage is not that good. What I ended up with is 2 weapons. Magic weapon for casting spell, and between you switch to a blunt weapon (preferrably mace that has some additional magic attack) and you smack away.
So far my favourite was full INT Krivis followed by full STR cleric.
I will probably end up going full STR because I want take the Paladin route.
I tried out a 1:1 STR:INT cleric as well. It started out as a full INT cleric, until I got fed up with not being able to deal damage to flying mobs and having too much downtime from spells. It was pretty smooth sailing after I started to add STR, and my heals were still sufficient enough that I would consider going full STR.
One thing that worries me is that I plan to go Pardoner, and I’m not sure if the scrolls they make will be based off their current stats or the stats of the buyer. I do want my products to be the most efficient they can be :3
Do you have 5k health with Plate Mastery included?
I had 3k HP at ~lvl65
3 Pieces of Plate gave me a bonus and with a 4th Plate part I got an additional bonus again. I felt it was pretty good but I hadn’t leveled it up much.
I went for Barbarian and at lvl70 I had 70 STR, 20 CON, 20 DEX.
I felt my crit chance was horrible and lackluster.
I then tried going Highlander with full Dex build but I only got to around 22 DEX. The damage output was MUCH better just by going pure DEX I could tell tho. I dodged much more than half the attacks thrown at me, even from bosses and I felt the gains from crit chance are much more worth than the extra damage from STR early on until you get your hands on Aggressor at least.
If I could re-do it, I would like to test out a Barbarian with 1:1 DEX and STR but starting off with maximizing DEX first.
Got my iCBT key on the second give away wave. I made a full support Cleric/Diev and played for 12 hours non-stop this is my stat:
- Character level 42, class: Cleric 2 / Dievdirbys 1.
- 2k HP, 1k1 SP (w/ item bonuses).
- 26 CON, 48 SPR (w/ item bonuses).
SPR stays at 20 points higher than CON. Very good for soloing groups of mob but can’t do much in party because of the slow casting skills and you need to plan them correctly.
Ranger 50 dex, 50 str … very nice dmg with critical and high pure dmg
Just curious, how often did the monsters hit you? Was it often or very low chance?
If I could remake my Barb (level 60) with Dex I would. THE CRIT AND DODGE IS SO REAL! My dodge was so high that i I eventually sold all of my HP and SP potions because I almost never got hit or ran out of SP. Incases where i did take damage it was usually 1 point of damage and at most 40 from normal mobs, and 250 from a killer move from a boss but even the bosses did 1 damage to me IF they hit me, which was almost never thanks to stomp being able to interrupt their telegraphed skills.
As for my stats i had 70 STR and around 30 DEX, id go 50 DEX / 50 STR if I ever get another chance, but I would prioritize DEX first.
Like @WatchGintama said, I don’t need to say much more, though I was Hoplite lvl 5x.
I did 2/1 in STR/CON, and for next iCBT I think I will do a 1/1 or even 2/1.
Someone know how STR boost physic spells precisely ? I want to know if STR is really worth or not, I only saw that it boost your auto-hit (Crit Dmg and available Weight too yeah) one point by one point…
Considering this, I think that the full CON build for melee class is the strongest.

I am a Swordsman>Highlander>Barbarian i stop at LvL 80 Rank 4 and if i had a chance to redo it my build, it will be like this!!
1-20 Swordsman Full dex, No attacking skill from swordmans skills: 5 Gungho, 5 Concentrate, 5 Pain Barrier(For Pvp later!) You Must Prioritize Gungho in the beginning for you to be able to do adequate dmg when it does crit!!
20-40 Highlander Full Dex, : 5 Cartar stroke, 5 Crown (Pvp against mage), 5 Wagon wheel. The reason why i prioritized Cartar stroke is that when you are grinding at lvl 26 you will reach a grind mode since the later quest you have received will be 30+ and Cartar stroke help me alot by killing blue monsters that i overkill and thus gaining 1 level to 1 1/2 from overkill!.
40 - 60 Barbarian Dex till 90 then switch to Str!! 5 Aggressor, 5 Savegary, 5 Stomping Kick. Now i messed up with my barbarian when i first started, I should’ve prioritized the Aggressor first since it was the main dmg dealing buff i had when i found out!!.. i was beginning to think that my stats at that time where misplaced, not only aggressor gives you more crit percentage but it also gives you crit dmg that is not in any form of descriptions. My average crit dmg at that time would be around 600-700 dmg, nothing compare to the barbs with aggressor, they reach a staggering 1.5k dmg to 2.5k dmg CRIT! So thats why 5 Aggressor makes more of a difference in grind session when u one hit everything at crit!
60 - 80 Barbarian still put at Str, 6 Aggressor, 5 stomping, 5 savegary. When you hit rank 4 for me i decided to follow my second Barbarian class due to aggressor!. At lvl 6 aggressor the crit rate that it gives u is around 50% and thats the reason why i stayed at 90 dex, you will have ample crit rate from the skill aggressor itself and what seperates you from full dex barbs is more crit dmg!! By the time you started putting str in your stats it will boost up not only you’re regular dmg but also you’re crit dmg!! Now you just have to make sure that you’re gear is up to date and you will be killing lvl 80+ mobs till 109 at level 80!!
Well i bet you guys are probably saying “There is just no way you’re able to kill level 109 mobs when you hit level 80!!” well it would be disrespectful to say that you are wrong so i will keep my comments to myself and just show you a video http://www.twitch.tv/vici0us369/v/10574133 this video contains me killing lvl 96 mobs with 1 or two hits crit, after that i crashed then my video ended and it cut me off and i reach all the way till level 109 mobs!
