Dear IMC.

Craft an item that gives you a random item, its a good idea, No its not sarcasm, yet…

Craft an item using high level materials (Hard to drop, expensive inside game economics) even with the item description stating which kind of item family is that will randomly drop (Sword, 2h Sword, Rifle, Spear, etc.), and yet, having a random % of getting a low level item of a different family of that showed in item description… that is bullshit.

Today I finally gather all mats and silver enough to buy the rest (that is 5 red piper recipes and 2 artiloniums) tu craft a “rifle” cardboard cube, only to find that the item dropped from the crafted cube, was a crossbow… a bloody plain, simple lvl220 crossbow which is worth less than 1/16 of the time and silver i invested in the cardboard cube.

You need to fix this ■■■■… this is blatant ■■■■■■■ scam, there is no other way to state what this is, nor to justify it.

Please, to the community: I dont know any name of staff, so please you would help us all to tag them so that maybe, maybe they will fix this joke of an item…

Correction: Is not “Red pipe”… forgot the actual name of recipe.

Its something like “Dragon pipe” I think. Either way… it was a purple 315 musket. And I wasted 5 of them.

Yes the cardboard box is a gamble, yet, nowhere does it says that by using 5 bows or crossbows or etc the box will guarantee a recipe of said family.

If you pay close attention, the recipe to craft said cardboardbox request those materials yet in game there exist only one cardboardbox. All recipes create this single cardboard box that will gamble the chance of getting any orange random recipe. on top of that there’s the extra recipes it can give you that are not orange nor lv 315.

So. the cardboard box item is only one, and that box will gamble for a single recipe of any kind. Buying or trading for the recipe you need seems like a more viable option than hunting for it yourself. unless you want to hunt for it yourself of course.

This is possibly due that you didnt pay attention that the crafted item is the same for all recipes, regardless of what material is required.

You are correct: I did not putted attention to it, at least not enough. I was mislead by the item name description “Cardboard box (Musket)” and the fact that no box clearly states that “The name refers only to the materials needed”.

I was naive by assuming that a recipe which requires an specific type of materials (weapon’s recipe of the same family, Muskets in this case) would give, drop a random recipe of that specific type of material required (weapon family). Although this might be a case of really bad luck and naivenes on my regard, this does not justify nor solves the second issue… actually, the second piece of the same issue: Random low level recipe drop.

Game is hard enough on the subject of getting high-end equipment, I as a profesional person, do not see what’s the point of implement a “special” (sorta, due to its rareness and difference with normal items of the same type [cubes]…) item that will give you the same chance of getting a high-end item, but at a higher price (economic, time and effort).

Its a scam, it doesn’t matter how you look at it… random drop of any sort of item renders this implementation a backstab to whichever strategy it was planned from… its bad marketing, its bad publicity, is just bad, bad, bad, awful planning.

Ima nag everyday until i get my refund of 2 artiloniums and 5 lvl315 musket recipes or its equivalent in tp… that is almost a Token’s worth (i spend abut 2.2mil silver on this piece of shiet).

@leleconildo Bad designed feature does = scam when failure in design is not corrected and goes running as “intended”.

Think Marketing: You release an offer where you buy x items of high value/price which you can trade for 1 random item that, in no way, reflects nearly the same value/price of 1 of the original items. But that’s not all, to increase popularity and promote sells, you organize a publicity stunt by making this random item “special/different” from all other items from your store.

If only IMC knew how to difference the left from the right hand.
If you dare stroll through the archive that is this forum, beyond the current desperate cries you’ll find the polite ones, beyond those the actuals suggestions and I believe once upon a time people were eager to “help” in bug hunting.

However the big IMC decided to ignore. as he was a tired god and turned to the joy of running his own creation to the ground. This is the tree of savior you know. a land where all logic is nonsense.

Imc didn’t steal anything from you, there was no gain for them, your silver went to the drain,yes, that still doesn’t make it a scam.

If anything imc was also harmed here, they lost yet another consumer’s trust( yours) with their flawed system .

You are doing this the wrong way. Just make AFK Necro and buy all the shits you need.
Red 315 weps are for RMTers / AFK Necros. Don’t know why you need it so badly. Trans-ed purple weps are pretty much more than enough for any contents right now anyway.:sparkles:

It’s just another dumb rng cube, nothing to get upset about really, the game is full of dumb rng cubes so we should all be used to them.
My method was to save up about 10 boxes plus the money to re-roll them.
Then light some candles during a full moon, sacrifice 6 chickens and pray to the hue gods before opening them, and guess what, I got an orange recipe, not the one I wanted but hey it’s a start.
