Services Schedule: Founder's Server Open : Tuesday, March 29, 2016 02:00 AM (EST)

There’s a lot of people that will support them that aren’t joining EA, for a lot of different reasons, too. If you followed any of the discussions, or maybe I should say wars.

You’d know that.

Just because you’re dropping 50$ right away, doesn’t mean that some person won’t drop way more than 50$ in the cash shop, over time.

A lot of people simply don’t support IMC decision to even run the early access.

Also that few % is actually the majority of their community, they have to listen. Even if all of those people won’t give a dime for the game, the game will die without them, because paying players would start quitting too when there’s no one to play with.

Bigger community is always more fun. :3

March 25 at least, there is no reason to be March 29…

I think they want to keep their weekday work schedule.

Let me guess, that date makes perfect sense in your schedule, right?!

@hiryu_rhys nope you’re wrong. Adding 2-3 stuff to a founder pack on steam when you’re already greenlight doesn’t require 1 week, it super fast and simple. However the eu server thing that, might be more long, it’s an error from them not to have think about it, but it no reason to delay everything they should have just give a transfer server token for free, or put an EU release slightly later. It’s super common that EU/NA server doesn’t come out at same time. I don’t really m inde the 150ms. I mind wasting vacation.

 Good to have ppl like you to remind ppl like them.

+1

I did not ask anything for you, respect others opinion.

I didn’t know you were versed in the ways of the inter-workings of IMC game management and launching or is all your cold hard facts just conjecture to make you feel better about yourself to make an argument.

I could use the response, “nope you’re wrong”, as well but that would be just a factual baseless response to just make myself feel personally superior.

Let me try to clarify something for you. Just because you believe things should work at a certain pace and time frame that only you find acceptable doesn’t mean it’s true. So don’t try to push YOUR reality on me as if it is the truth.

Life will teach that NOTHING works the way you expect it and you just need to cope with ■■■■ the best you can and move on. Something adults hopefully learn at some point.

I’m respecting your opinion. I’m just assuming, it makes perfect sense for your schedule, correct? Most gaming companies start their maintenance/releases on Tuesdays. It’s mostly regarded to games with physical copies, though.
Nevertheless, sorry to burst your bubble, but you can bet your ass that only but a few mmorpgs (if any) will release on a friday.

A Friday would be the worst decision they could make.
The main team is off on week-ends, so they’d either have to totally change their work schedules or let a second, smaller, team handle it all if something happens.
They chose a date that wasn’t far from the initial release date, which means they can handle and work on the issues/bugs.
(You NEVER want a new update or release before a week-end or holidays… Everything turns into chaos so fast…)
Look, they released the packs on a week-end and it’s already a bit chaotic because they didn’t specify that the game will be open starting the 29th.

Where do you get the fact that the people who asked for a change are people who “didn’t want” to support the company ?
The people who don’t want to pay at all, didn’t care that much. They complained mainly on Facebook, but not that loudly.
Most of the people who complained on the forum were people willing to pay, that’s the thing. They were ready to give 50$, but thought that 3 months was too much, and had other troubles. They told them “I won’t pay in those conditions, but if you make it like this or that, sure, I will.”.
That’s why IMC listened to them.

No core team ever has day off on the launching week of their game

@hiryu_rhys Wow you do like trying to be all mighty or something. I work in a game studio, with people who publish on steam, It’s not like sending to apple or google. Once you are greenlite it’s really fast to go live. Also changing the pack is NOTHING, probably took a programmer 1h and QA 1-3hours so be sure nothing was wrong. They are ready to go live, they probably delay only because of the servers, it’s the only reason why they would be force to delay. I don’t believe, or try to push something, I just know how things work.

It’s your fault for changing your schedule before the game is even on steam and specially with all the uproar that it brought unto the forums.
Also, he is the one trying to be “all mighty or something” yet you are the one who wants them to change their schedule because it fits YOU. I’m sensing a bit of irony in here.
Don’t you?

Plus, this was one of your posts when they decided to change their plans:

Seriously… Take a decision fast. This is really annoying toward professional people who ask for day off.

Now, you are telling that you couldn’t wait 24 hours for them to give an statement?

Simple, reschedule your leave. Thats what i did, i said that my vacation will be canceled on 22 and instead will be moved to 29 instead. Companies are flexible.

lol, these people are funny? complaining the matter about taking your leaves for your game? come on man! that’s your personal issue. your leaves can be canceled which you applied and push down to the release date?

i have no objection they start with date March 29, 2016. yet, regardless how much you take leaves for this game, there are someone will be ahead of you  enjoy the game rather than pushing yourself limit at no where.

I couldn’t imagine taking time off work for a game release. XD I guess if that’s what you want to spend your holiday on… But at least have the game in your hot little hands before you book it.
