I’ve been playing korean mmos hosted in korea ever since ragnarok online launch in korea and one thing I can assure you, world chat is mostly only english and Koreans are very xenophobic about that.
What the hell isn’t a ‘digital game’ in 2016 that isn’t on console? People still exist who go to physical retail stores to buy games for PC?
Many people transferred to europe aswell. Femidian has at least tripled its population and those came from klaipeda just the same.
So brazilians if you are taking pride in this it shows why the americans wanted you gone in the first place.
Nah, let them enjoy the situation. They finally got free from that server with overly racist attitudes towards them. They were treated pretty badly and not given even a chance to behave properly. It’s partially because of their culture (whatever that means, the reason might be as well that their kids don’t have even the basic understanding of English and they find foreigners annoying because of that?) but their attitudes are greatly amplified by the constant negative feedback they are getting. Even the normal players start to change their behaviour for worse in this situation.
Or would you rather keep trying to stay cool and play nicely instead of sticking to your own people when you keep getting comments like “HUEHUEHUE you monkeyboi!” no matter how nicely and politely you play if your nickname sounds Brazilian enough? I don’t think everyone can handle that and I don’t really blame them when they vent it out.
I’m European too but I find this situation slightly amusing and think NA players sort of deserve it. Too bad all the nice people there are suffering as well but there were so many players vocal about kicking everyone else out of “their” server. It’ll be probably fixed after the game goes f2p anyways

We, BRs are a large portion of the player base (heck, not the largest by far, but still a big number), and as any large group in a foreign environment, we try to stick together.
Here, most people do not get acess to a decent education, let alone learing english (as you can tell by the look of this post). If you are trying to play a game where a bunch o strangers speak a language you know nothing about, it is only natural to go to the chat and look for people who understand you and are willing to form a group or clan, so everybody can make sense of what is happening. It hurts THAT much to have something you do not understand in the chat? Chances are, if you do not understand, it is not adressed to you. If a BR talks to you in anything but english (or the sorry excuse for english we can put together most of the time), you are probably dealing with a 12 year old that thinks it’s fun to annoy the hell out of somebody else so he can brag about it for his friends. This is a game where teaming up is needed. No one serious about it would annoy other players that otherwise could be useful to leveling up or killing a boss or whatever. Stupid, toxic, annoying kids exist in every single playerbase of every online game ever. And it is not exclusive to a nation, a race or anything. This is just worldwide bad parenting.
