You can try your luck with VPN Gate. It is free and servers are hosted by collaborating individuals.
Just take notice that most if not all of them, have logging enabled, so stuff you search (not sure passwords and logins) or stuff like that might be stored in the server logs.
They do that for security reasons, but as @atari said, it’s from collaborating individuals and you don’t know when you end up getting a malicious one in the middle.
