Hi guys, I have a doubt, what if I buy the cheapiest server to play, but when the f2p server is already up and runing, will I be able to transfer my account to the f2p server??? I mean, if I purchase the 12$ server do I have keep using this server 4ever???

u can choose any server u want regardless the dlc u bought. yea, u can playy 4ever and ever! make sure u pick the server that near with ur region/homeplace/country . like, if u live on phillipines, then u choose SEA server, ETC ETC.

There are no such a thing like this. What do you mean with “F2P server”? When the game get F2P, May 10, all the servers Will be free. I dont think there will be any new one at launch.

you are not paying for a server.
the DLC is a collection of ingame items and currency. as a bonus, with the DLC, you are allowed to play during the Exclusive Access period (that is, now.)
you can play on any available server. DLC content may be claimed once, by one character, on any one server. After claiming the DLC, you must log on with that character to “unpack” and “activate” the various items. DLC content does not expire, so you do not have to claim it immediately, and it will be available to be claimed on any server until you claim it.
the F2P release is expected to be May 10th (unless it is delayed again).
at that point, all servers become open to the public. there will not be any “founders only” servers.
after f2p, the player population is expected to rise a lot. this will require that more servers be opened, so they don’t get overcrowded.
anyone can start -new- characters on these servers immediately, but their DLC content will not transfer. note that Tokens, specifically, apply to all characters on a specific server.
after a server has been running for 3 weeks, founders can make a one-time free transfer to it. (One transfer, to One server, Once.)

generally, it’s best to pick the server that is located closest to you, for the best possible connection. currently, servers are located in North America (Orsha and Klaipeda), Europe (Fedimian), and South East Asia (Telsiai). a South American server (Silute) will be opening soon.
If you’re unsure which server would be best, there are instructions located somewhere on the forums for how to test your PING to the servers. Alternately, you could just play for a bit, to see which one feels best. If you chose to “just play for a while” do not claim your DLC content immediately. If you later decide to change servers, that DLC content will not be available on the new server if it has been used on the old one.
They already opened the new servers and did the transfers…
And if you are up to the news, you’ll know that those transfers are not open to all that bought the access
For example, they won’t transfer ppl from fedimian or telsiai to silute, eventhough there are ppl there that are from SA
Or an older lie, when they said “open beta soon” and then left the community without any news for a while to come back with “founders access soon” and pretend that the “open beta” anouncement never happened
And so on
They told that these servers were going to be transferred to those regions and you should only start playing in them if that’s what you want and are okay with that. Except of those few who ended up playing on Fedimian within the first few hours it opened, the SA players who started playing in those servers are aren’t really wise ones. Why would you start playing on them if you’re not okay for being stuck on those servers? They were meant for people actually living in those regions and people who are okay with possibly horrible pings.
IMC is actually game developing company, not a publisher originally. I think it’s pretty understandable that there might be some hiccups and change of plans like that. This is their first project they are publishing themselves I think(?). They are handling things still way better than if there was some European publisher in between imo.
Open beta might imply there being another wipe after it but it seems IMC decided they are confident enough there won’t be need for large scale changes and it’s safe to let players enjoy the game without fear of everything getting wiped again after the beta phase ends. I think this was a positive change of plans from the players’ perspective. It’s true they didn’t feel like giving some humble explanation for it and it seems they went with the “lets pretend this never happened and our marketing department just screwed up” route but maybe it’s a cultural thing? Big decisions are made on the Korean side after all.
While their announcements have been with rather short notice times in few cases and a bit cryptic on few parts, it’s still way better than waiting for one or two extra years because international publishers usually wait for all this stuff being polished out before they dare to get involved with the game.
Thats because fediman and telsai arent founder servers. They didnt exist when it was released and then they added them once they realized klaipeda and orsha wasnt enough.
“That being said, we will consider creating regional servers later down the line if we see enough support from those regions. Most importantly, we will be offering a 1-time Team transfer to regional servers if and when they are created. Only 1 Team transfer will be offered to each Steam account.” Notice how fediman and telsai are regional servers. From founder server to regional server.
Whos going to start in the EU server or the SEA server if they are in SA anyway? lol
