There are almost 14k unique log ins. There is no way of players knowing the exact # of bots. I am not a fan of bots nor of misinformation.
My statement still stands, as of now there are near 14k unique log ins to the servers.
The reason the last 48hrs is low is because six hours of that was global maintenance.
Even that page is showing 14k log ins. So does the official app.

And not just bots, chaplain high level bots with arde daggers.
Also, don’t forget that there are two servers filled with cheaters, bots and RMTs called Telsiai and Varena.

I feel the same since they closed the servers and started doing their so called optimizations.
It’s like they’re shrinking the server capacity at every maintenance.

Hyped players quitting because the game doesn’t suit them

Players who have capped and waiting for more content

Bots, and more bots, and the banning of said bots.

No fresh players to fill the ranks.

People who tried it and didn’t like the game so they quit.
This cycle is actually present in any MMO at any given time. You would see the gradual decline in any game where the creation of new accounts was stopped like it is in ToS currently. The launch population very rarely stays at the same peak, unless it’s a AAA MMO (and even then… it’s rare for it to not fall off a bit after the first few weeks anyway).
I’m not stating that the population hasn’t declined, but that there are factors more than game is dying/bots/ect as to why the population is lower and much of it is natural.
I’m getting no lag at all here on Kla server. I’m wondering how it’ll be when new players are allowed back…
When the servers were down for maintenance there was around 650-800 players with the game open even though they could not log on. They were either bots trying to automatically reconnect, or players with an addiction problem

I was actually lagging really bad in the 50 dungeon just a bit ago, several players were. Though in town and open maps it’s smooth as can be.
Guess that’s why I’m not lagging. Not doing any dungeons right now. Also nice GIF lol.
What about clearly mentioning people who quit because bugs, because class unbalance, because of IMC’s lack of action against bots, because server unstability, because iToS only class nerfs, because no updates like kToS which you should have written on the top of your list.

But yeah, I’m seeing just as many players as ever and honestly less bots as of late spamming in town and out on the fields. Might just be the maps I’m on though on our server.

And technically that would fall under #5 since no matter the reason, they are still players who are dissatisfied with the current state of the game.
Never have I said there aren’t valid reasons for complaining about the game or trying to call attention to issues that you have/find with the game. The only thing I said was that the population was NOT 9k currently and that even with lower population there are more factors than OMG game sux.
The game has major issues right now. I understand, even if I don’t like, why the servers are closed. It’s having a drastic effect on the morale of players both in and out of the game. I really hope they get some of the coding/optimization up to par and fast.

Fact is, there is no reason why someone would lie about something like this.
This # hasn’t changed much since earlier, and yes he is exaggerating on server pop. ANYONE can go check the community page to see how many people are currently logged in. Considering we all use steam to log in, it’s not hard to do. I’m not, nor have I ever said that we don’t have issues with the game or that I entirely approve of how IMC handles stuff.
Anyway, 13.8K, same as it was when I first replied. Servers come up and there are of course less players on than at normal hours. And my previous statement about the life cycle of player populations still stands. It’s in EVERY game.

No but really bots included it’s fine. Ya’ll cry too much about Player Retention especially when the game isn’t suited to actually hold people, not only that every MMO these days barely hold people in game regardless. If it gets it’s niche amount of lovers who actually stay with the game then it’ll keep going; MMOs have survived with a few thousand people playing the game. And when the game actually improves and IMC gets its head out of their behinds to make the game an actual game, people will come back in spades.
You’re a little bit quite a lot wrong there, nobody here exactly said something “Positive” but made up “Positive” BS to hide actual issues and that’s what makes them white knights.
