I just dont understand. They got the info on how many players are going to play on OBT. They even show a pi graph with percentage and all. But how in the world they didnt add more servers in the beginning to avoid all this queue time and channels crashing. Damn i cant even click a quest right now coz of lag.
There is a huge spike of purchase number at the last day before 29th , and when they know it’s too late. That was they told us.

They solely relied on their current raw data and they don’t have a secondary layer of defense on this possible bottleneck because they didn’t even think that there’s a possibility for people to buy Early Access DLCS at the day of release which is somewhat incompetent imo but oh well, we gotta live with it. I sincerely hope IMC learns from this though.

I mean to be fair, this is far from the worst mmo release I have played, Blade and Soul was FAR worse on the Old Man Cho server 10+ hour que times even for premium players. Or Diablo 3 (not an mmo sure but still) that launch was atrocious for weeks. Hopefully they draft up some fixes soon till then me and my friends can’t really do much of well… anything.
They should’ve put a headroom on their servers capacity. They are not anticipating things, which they should have by now since cbt they already saw the number of potential players.
They are really getting a good amount of players, I hope they do something about this soon. I haven’t been able to play at all. And yes this is far worse than BNS launch. And this is just for those who purchased Founders pack, I hope by the time f2p comes we are really stable enough for the flood of players coming in.

They said they had servers on standby and yet here we are nothing for 16 hours now.
And bots!! Dont forget the bot invasion.
I think they had one ‘server’ on standby, which they used. And now they have done nothing but give people free candy to use in game, except the game is broken…
Bots and Gold Spammers. I hope we have weapons to counter 'em when that time comes :V
