Reviving this thread. I can try to message STAFF about a GM showing up this time. I’d like to see the health of Klaipeda revived.

Stop by Tenet Gardens Channel 1 on September 29th to do this all over again. It was fun the first time, let’s have another good time!

I’m in Orlando hoping it doesn’t move more inland by the time it hits central Florida. I’m as prepared as I can be for my first hurricane while living down here though. Stay safe.

Stay safe. Just called one of my little sisters, who lives on the west side of the Florida. She’s under the impression hurricanes usually dissipate quite substantially the further west you live. Unsure if that is true, but told her to stay safe. Floridians please do the same. Actually stay safe if you’re on the east coast in general.

I’m hoping for nothing too serious, but it’s hard to predict for now. The owner of the property I’m renting did say the roof was blown off in a previous hurricane many many years ago so that isn’t too reassuring lol. I do have a radio handy and bought some new batteries for it today.

@artooc3po I’m not too sure on that. It probably depends on where the center of it hits. Currently the eye of the hurricane is projected to come up the east coast side and I’ve seen numbers of 90+ mph winds projected in the Cape Canaveral area with the numbers going lower more inland and towards Tampa Bay area.

I haven’t watched any reports in a couple hours though so things could have changed.

Yah I wasnt really believing her. She just moved there this year too with her husband.

She did mention, I think S. Carolina may end up getting the brunt of it; but still heavy winds and floods can be just as dangerous.

Well now it says Georgia.

But you are probably right about the severness, depends on which direction it’s coming from and hits.

Yeah its projected to follow the coast up that way then swing back out to the Atlantic. News stations mentioned that they were hoping it wont swing back down to Florida for round 2, but by that time the projections show it will be back down to a category 1 hurricane.

Anyways… I don’t want to derail this topic any further. Haha

This could be an idea, weekly community gatherings where a GM appears. Gets players together and GM’s can spread a little news. Fun and informative. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
