Separate server for Eastern Europe

After disabling regional pricing and announcing separate servers for SA and SEA , some part of players, offended with high prices are good. However, another large portion of players is still there - I am talking about players from RF, Belarus, Ukraine,etc. They have unbearable ping to SEA or SA servers and unadequate pricing on EU server.

So, the simplest suggestion as I can see it is making another Eastern Europe server, with regional prices, and forbid transfer/gifting/trading of TP/founder packs/etc between servers.

First, players just from Russian Federation, are about 7% from total number of players, judging from a diagramm. That is NOT a small community, being on 5th place after US, Brazil,Thailand and Canada. And there are more players, than in Germany and France grouped together. Second - IMC is against regional discounts, as they think the discounts promote botting (I doubt that, but it is their official point of view). If IMC don`t want regional pricing - separate server is a way around the problem.

Because the moment any region gets a discount on an otherwise “expensive” server, RMT companies start dancing, cheering and configuring VPNs.

TBH, nearly every time a Korean company tires to operate outside of South Korea, where KSSN restrictions make it so much harder to spawn infinite amounts of bots, they are eaten alive by RMT. And it’s a pity that IMC is trying to find an easy way out of this (hint: there is no easy way).

I just wonder if you are somewhat mentally handicapped.

  1. I don`t care about founder packs. I care about TP price AFTER release.
  2. Read the table. Read the link you posted. Try to think.

P.S. Ping to EU server - 50 ms. Ping to SEA server - 320 ms. What you state is another example of shallow thinking.

I beg to differ.
A 50% discount from a $50 purchase is nice and all, but that’s a one time purchase which will NOT be available afterwards.
And when players let’s say, in Russia will have to buy more TP, all hell will be let loose again.

Remind me, what’s the planned cost of a 200 TP package? ~$17, iirc?
So let’s see, considering the pricing in Steam and, just to expand the range in Blizzard store…

200 TP is $17 (which gets you a month’s worth of token time).
30 days subscription time in World of Warcraft is $6 for Russia. ($11.90 if you pay for 2 months).
Dark Souls 3 Deluxe is $30 on Steam in Russia.

How would you like to pay more than double your usual price for something just because a developer decided to cut the costs of the security department and is blatantly incapable of handling the pressure of the RMT?

TL;DR: It’s completely NORMAL that people are p1ssed. They’ve got every right to be.

The absence of common sence and superiority (or is that inferiority?) complex, seems to be your problem. Well, I`m not a doctor.

Just to be sure, do you know, where Eastern Europe is located? And where South America is? If you are not geographically challenged, you can find, that those locations are almost on the opposite sides of the globe. So, link for the SA server announcement is utter idiocy.

Second - SA server is separate server with regional pricing, That is exactly what I was asking for EE server, but located in the correct distance. If you cant comprehend this, don`t bother spamming in this topic.

I know, reading is hard. But try to keep up on this one:
Because both GAMES are available on Steam and have PRICE TAGS attached to them. Hence, I can compare the prices and point out how ridiculous it was for IMC to discard the idea of regional pricing.
There, that wasn’t hard, was it?

Oh, and you might want to look it up if there’s a sale going on anywhere for tissues. You know, for all your foaming. And get a fire extinguisher while you’re at it. I can smell your chair burning even from here.
