I’ve been levelling and have found most content pretty easy, save a few of the AoE knockback spamming bosses. Is this build going to remain viable into the hundreds, or am I gimping myself by not taking C2 or P3? My stat allocation so far has been Int 3, Spr 1, Con 1.
To be frank, yes you are gimping yourself by not going c2 or p3, at least for support roles.
If you don’t plan to party much then w/e play how you want to play :3
1 in mass heal is hot garbage now, i wouldn’t even get it as priest2. If you want it then take 4 points out of aspersion because it is a terrible skill on its own. Defense is bad right now.
9 in monstrance is a bit of a mistake unless you are hardcore pvp. put it to 1 and max resurrection and revive.
As a diev…you want carve world tree, silence is very powerful.
Which path would you recommend, C2 or P3, and for what skills? I’m assuming it will be Divine Might in Cleric, but what’s attractive in Priest 3? Just better Sacraments and Blessings?
You go C2 for 10 in heal and the safety wall attribute. Divine might is good but not a game changer.
10 in heal adds 5 more heal tiles and making healing much easier.
P3 is attractive for stone skin and 10 in mass heal. Since you only have 5 heal tiles you will need to be more involved to keep your team alive, so this more of the ‘advanced’ route of support. You will have to cycle buffs like stone skin, revive, and your mass heal to avoid being in a situation where you have no option to keep someone alive.
After you have your baseline support skills set(revive, mass heal, stone skin), then you can put remaining points in bless and sacrament. Tinker around in the simulator and see what makes sense to you with each build.
I spent some time in the Skill simulator and I think I’ve settled on P3. I’m still several hours away from Advancement, so while I have the time do you (or anyone else) know if a Cleric/Priest3/Diev2 would have a reasonable time soloing? I get the feeling I should move around some early skill points and get Safety Zone levelled up a bit.
Reasonable? Yes. It won’t be the easiest thing in the world, but given how quest-driven the first 100 levels are, it should be easy to at least get a foothold.
Once you get close to the 160s where the game gets grindy you will want to party with at least a couple people.
