Seeking advice: c2 > prie > diev > pala3; const:spirit=3:1 - Doomed and restart?

Hey guys and lads,

i just have a few question regarding this setup, since im a relatively new player (playing like 9 days and im right now 156) im seeking for some advicing:

Reasoning behind my chosen classes:

Cleric/c2
I dont think you can heal good if you aren’t c2. Also, c2 gives you this immense safety zone buff.
Skills: Heal 10, SZ 10, Fade 1, Curse 9

Priest:
Blessing/Aspersion was the main reason. I find Blessing is a good buff, even at 5 with maxed out damage it adds 131 of around 170 possible; that looked solid to me. Ive took Monstrance over Deprotective Zone here
Skills: Blessing 5, Monstrance 5, Aspersion 2, Resurection 3

Diev:
I had little problems at the beginning dealing DMG. Carve attack removed my problem. Diev 1 has also some okayish party support/cc (Reduced Movement, Reduced Skill CD, Reduced SP cost)
Warp Stat 2 , SP Stat 3, Move/CD Stat 5, Carve 5

Pala:
After Diev, i took Pala1; Smite made solo leveling substantial easier for me. Restoration with Attribute gives 100 more SP regen. Defence buffs against MAgic damage etc and a solid skill at c3 makes it appealing for me.

Currently: Smite 5, Ele Resist 5, Restauration 5
Planned: Smite 15, Ele Resist 15, Restauration 5, Barrier 5, C3 Attack 5

Note: I never had problems in dunjons so far. There are some usual nearly one shots, because im atm to lazy to pay attention to those (Lv130 dunjon first boss killed me 2 times so far)
The stat distribution: I think its not worth to either focus on SPR or INT (For one or two skills ?!). Since i just want to mainly support and beeing capable of doing “some” dmg/decent heal, STR/DEX is out of qustion too (dont want more DMG). CON gives me a better time, since i can focus more on party heal then allways watching my Life.

What are your experience with similar setups? Especially at late (Lv220+) game. Worth to go on with that route or just throw it away?

Im coming from Path of Exile, grinding is not a problem for me. But afaik, late game consist a lot of party play, but if your build is crap, no one wants to party with you, as we all know ;).

Honest opinions are appreciated; at the very end, its just a game we want to enjoy.

Thanks in advance!

I mean… I don’t see anything wrong with your build? I wouldn’t have picked some of the skill you choose, but that’s just me. I wouldn’t have gone Priest, I would have gone Diev 2 for Carve Owl & Carve Tree.

If you are looking for damage, STR would directly affect Carve, Smite, & Pally C3 Attack. DEX can give you Crit Chance and Evasion which applies to the 3 Damage abilities you have put into. You also have Monstrance which increases your DEX as well. So in this case DEX might benefit you more.

I’m playing a Full-Support build (Cleric2>Priest3>Chaplain>Kabbalist w/ 2 SPR: 1 CON: little bit of INT) I’m fairly effective, however my build plays
more of a traditional healer. Your build sounds a lot tankier than mine.

As I see it, you’re building a support character.

Statwise Con:SPR is great.
For Class: Cleric2(OK), Priest(why only Priest1?), Diev(Utility/Aura), Paladin(Why3?)

Most people go for priest for buffs, but mostly do it for Priest3 stoneskin. As for Paladin(either rank1 for resto or rank3 for barrier).

In my opinion, you build is ok. However… How’d you get to Pala3 whilst being lvl 156? … As such, I’m assuming you are only Pala1. In this case, I recommend that you stop and just go for Priest3.

Your Build would look something like this:
Cleric2 (10 Healtiles, Divine Might, Fade, Deprotect ZoneLv3 min)
Diev1 (Skill CD reduction, SP Regen, Teleport) [Forget Carve, you have no str]
Pala1 (Heal & SP Regen Boost Aura, Turn UndeadLv2 min, Resist Elements, Smite is optional)
Priest3 (Party Buffs, and Stoneskin)

Statwise you should be ok at CON:SPR

Buildpath as party healer/ buffer/ regeneration

As for my reasoning:

Why Pala1? not Pala3? : we only go for Pala3 for barrier and you could just get barrier scrolls from market, also smite won’t be useful for your build in the longrun

Why Priest3? not Priest1? : you’re stats are much more accommodating for priest3 and you would gain more rather than being Pala3

Why not Diev3? : As i see it, Diev3 are another build order altogether, as such I do not know if it’ll fit well with you’re build.

Plague Doctor? Kabbalist? or Oracle? : you’re class is already spread too thin, if you’re going for them… I cannot ascertain the usefulness of you’re build in future expansion. Also, PD’s got nerfed already… and most clerics are going for PD’s anyway.

That’s my opinion, it’s up to you then =)
