IMC please help. The ping is still like 300-400 to me after the server moved to sg. I am from Malaysia between, using TM Unifi 30mbps. GG T.T
mine also the same, but i noticed something.
ping from my home (cmd: 52.77.112.61) i got 220±, but when i ping from my office which is just 2 minutes from my house (Same area, beaufort sabah), i got 60±.
maybe it’s something to do with the isp.
so means that we cant play till our ISP fix it?
i guess that’s it. you can try use pingplotter (a software) since streamyx blocked tracert, to see where you get high ping at which address, then either contact your ISP or use a VPN.
this is my only guess, but wish to have more advise from the expert.
If you still have bad ping, it’s maybe the bad routing, VPN service can fix this, but so…I don’t recoment to use it, the best is talk to youe ISP.
Send them a mail about it. I was getting 170ms to AWS Singapore last night and I sent them an e-mail with the traceroutes.
Latency was back down to 15ms this morning.

Used this. I never call them anymore, just e-mail. They respond way faster.

Just mention that latency is higher than expected and take a screenshot of your PingPlotter results to the server in question. I don’t have an e-mail draft unfortunately but the message wasn’t very long.
Be polite by the way, they respond promptly if you are.
All you need to do is ask them to reset your ip.
