I have much better gears/ level than you and it still takes me 20~24 mins each run. At 176 with merely +5 khatsi bow and no p-atk head-gear, it takes 30~40 mins per run for sure.
Time yourself by using Halloween candy and you can see how much time you really take to clear the whole dungeon. People are underestimating the time they used.
sadly you were wrong, 176 scout can finish roughly 20-22mins of the dungeon with NPC stuffs except weapon as i mentioned.
too bad she gained level through holloween event. but i tried to do some runs with the same NPC gears to enlighten you.
first image: Notice that i used the holloween candy as you mentioned, also take note of the Silver gained below which is zero. again, showcasing the NPC stuffs i use and the +5khasti bow. (sadly the inventory covered the server time)
second image: Noticed the Holloween candy buff? 18mins left, that means i have traveled ‘Far’ before i killed merge. another thing here is you can see that my aspersion and sacrament Buff was gone because i died to those pesky colimen mage who froze me with a combination of server lag. (took me another min to back track where i died, and run from the entrance) server time 7:24
third image: Notice the holloween candy buff? 14mins left, that means after killing Merge, i went straight to Mandara and killed him. server time 7:28pm
Fourth Image: lavenzard killed. Holloween Buff 7mins left. server time 7:35pm
Last image: same holloween buff 7mins left. silver gained 322,610. PROOF that i fully cleared the dungeon because of the amount silver i gain)
Verdict:
Clear time 23mins 
accounting the following issues:
- Server lags like ■■■■ (approx 2 mins additional on clear time)
- Death due to lag, giving me handicap to respawn and walk from entrance (approx 1 min to run back where i left off)
- due to death, aspersion & sacrament buff was gone (sacrament gives offensive stat, thus lowering my damage output. longer kill/clear time)
(probably 1 min issue)
IF probably everything went smooth, clear time will be less than 20mins. due to the fact that my toon is already 211 as compared to before. having more stats to spend.
ALSO be noted that i can gear this toon with better accessories from my main via team storage. (but i usually don’t because im too lazy unequiping gear, storage, char select). clear time will be much more faster (p.atk headgears, gem socketed gloves, gladiator bands, etc.)
TL;DR,
Scout3 as early as leve176 or as soon as you reach Rank6. is more than enough to farm ‘Competitively’ with just NPC gears
if ever you got better gears but clearing longer than mine, it could be how you clear the dungeon (via path, and capitalizing target on split shot)

Interesting, imma try this on Sat or Sunday .
Don’t obsess over your clear times guys, 330 high end scouts clear it in 12-15min, the 8min videos you see online are ktos players with 200mil bows, lv100 attributes and they skip the miniboss rooms. You are basically looking at a 10min difference from top to bottom, very marginal.
(3hour update download on my other game…so boring, skimming the archer threads)
we were actually running ET (my SR) along with Scout3 in our team (A3SC3Cannon2). which makes him very Viable source of DPS if paired with the right party.
we had one Wiz3Link2Necro3 in our party. our wiz just plant that dirty pole and summons shoggoth (for the decay buff), along with JP, the amount of damage output he deal is immensely high. split shot with link and stacked decay of pole and shoggoth is already 200% missile attack modifier.
to whoever says that Scout has no place in ET.

Yep, I finish 1st well over 50% of the time in saalus and other group events against drgs, srs, elememes, and the other typical meta dps roles. I never had any intrest in ET but overall the viewpoint that scout3 was only good for farming was just naïve, sadly the majority of the people in the forums just think something is one way, type that thought, then someome reads that thought, and when the next person asks about the previous thought they repeat the thought they just read…and this vicious cycle continues until its deemed a fact.
Meanwhile somewhere in Europe there are several nurses and orderlies frantically searching a pysch ward for a missing patient. We know him as @adlerback78 or previously @Seifer. You will notice the time intervals inbetween his random internet attacks and manifestos of scattered English and math calculations.
It takes him several hours to cheek his medication and then orchestrate distractions to evade the staff during his recreation time. He then quickly works his way through the nursing stations desperately searching for a laptop with an internet connection.
Upon finding an laptop or PC he will quickly touch himself, and then begin attacking everyone that moves in the archer forums. This will probally be what I miss the most as I leave ToS, the comic joy of dealing with that lunatic has been an pleasure.

A little tip which works wonder for me: level up around 50~60 twins arrow (its like 1m not sure). Really improves your time dealing with that pisky tridope (dont know the exact name, the one green that apears in the whole dun).
will try to make a vid regarding my path. if my potato pc can handle it, if not. will try to illustrate a bit on where to walk into. i usually come into circles of a map. (will discuss further soon with more detailed images)
Any archer can do good with +200% dmg tsk… for sure is better than sc3 for ET. even A3 in a situation like that with MS15 and +200% is much better than fcking scout.
scout is good for farm. or for dreamer whallet knight or supper nerd overfounded.
You have no idea what you’re talking about lol…
Multi-shot has less radius and charge time is long and during the cast time you can’t use any other skill, so even with circling, if the target is between 2~3 mobs, split arrows still do more damage. The actual time you charge plus the animation itself equates to around 5 seconds of dps lost.
If you get Mergen already, you’d know that there’s no time for you to use Multi-shot during circling because using Mergen skills during Circling is much better than multi-shot, and it doesn’t root you.
Another thing to note is Circling + Homing arrow can take down a group of 20+ mobs with 140k hp in 2 cast (less than 4 secs) with crappy 220 weapon.
Stop theory-crafting and make your own Scout 3 Mergen and see for yourself.

Thanks for the pathing! I can see my pathing was all wrong. I am rank 7 with +5 light gorithos but I am still taking 30 mins per run.
