OK, so It Seems like swords are the only main hand weapon and I want to play as a dual pistol scout. I have the lvl 40 gear exchange chest and since I want to use guns. What do I pick for my main hand weapon since pistols seem to be sub.weapons? Even daggers are sub. So what about muskets and cannons? Their tooltip is not listed as subs.
You use a sword in main hand and a pistol in sub hand. If you are playing BM you will have a stance that uses 2 pistols but regardless of what you do the main hand sword is important b/c it adds additional damage to your pistol through the double attack buff.
So aside from serving as a “stat stick” for ichors it also needs to be enhanced and transcended to strengthen your pistol attacks.
