2017, any solution for this?
The issue is: After lauching the game a chat box with only a “ok” button pops up and it says “there may be a problem with the game. please install the latest version of directx”.
The game opens a white screen and closes.
You do have the the latest version of directx, right? What have you done so far to try and resolve the issue?
did you try reinstall directx?
directx 11 instaled.
Directx instaled in the _commonRedist folder.
Game reinstaled.
Nothing seens to work.
Verified integrity of game files in Steam?
Ran the patcher in Administrator Mode?
Ran DXSETUP.exe in the DirextX/Jun2010 folder?
Have someone copy their DirectX folder and send it to you?
Delete the _CommonRedist folder and run verify integrity?

Did almost everything.

Might be a dumb question, but, other games are working fine, or are they facing problems as well?
Install directx 11 for what? this game is dx9.
Yeah, don’t starve, league of legends, dungeon and fighter, diablo… no problem.
Yet ToS is having issues to open.
But if we use a higher version of dx there should be no problem, no?
you still need to install dx9c
I can’t overwrite dx9c over dx11 in win 7.
And I can’t open tos in compatibility mode.
If you want, I can try sending you my own Redist folder and you can dump it in the game files, see if that works.
I did it with a friend’s folder. Nothing changes.

i have been struggling to open tree of saviors client since thursday
hoping for any comments regarding the last recent maintenance patch notes.
i already tried to use verefy intregrity of game files.
still nothing.
