Schwarzer Rieter's Retreat Shot Bug

When you use retreat shot, the buff activates very briefly and immediately disappears and the skill goes on cooldown.The only way to keep the buff going is if you hold down the Retreat Shot key, making it very uncomfortable to use the skill.

How to replicate this bug: Press the retreat shot key. Self explanatory…

Sent over 5 tickets and IMC still refuses to acknowledge this bug. It has existed for a very long time and it’s the reason why I stopped playing. Retreat Shot is Schwarzer Rieter’s main skill, it’s practically unplayable with this bug. I logged back in very recently (two days ago) and the bug is STILL in the game.

I feel that it’s intentional so you hold it as you, well, retreat and release it when you want to get back to your other skills if you make the distance before the buff ends.
The fact that Retreat Shot does as much damage as it does making it one of ARs better skills is a sifferent history, though.

Pretty sure the skill was meant to be one of the ‘channeling’ type, like Pouncing, Rush, Bwa Kayiman, etc.

It being a buff is the weird part (and letting it benefit from Meltsis), not the buff disappearing part.

It can’t be intentional because sometimes the buff is still on without keeping the key pressed. It has to be a bug, whether they want us to keep the key pressed or not, it doesn’t work consistently.

I love my SR, but keeping the key pressed is dumb. There’s no other skill in the game that asks you to do that and from what I heard, it doesn’t happen in kToS so…
