What is the X button o_O ? Is it for windowed mode ? WHO PLAYS IN WINDOWED MODE ?

I’m playing in windowed mode so that I can switch to Firefox faster if I want to research sth on the net, look at the forums or do whatever, because this game is a ^*&$% when it comes to loading times and Windows 7 also sucks at making neat transitions from the game client to other tabs/programs.

Really good if I have to wait for x minutes in queue again, I can just switch to e.g. media player and hear some music or play a few minutes of Senren Banka (Japanese eroge for those who don’t know the title) while waiting and train my proficiency with the Japanese language (especially Kanji reading practice <3).
Dunno, maybe Aero would work better in full screen mode than usual Alt+Tab, but I don’t like Aero; It looked neat back then on my old Vista comp, but that’s all, not really useful (aweful ressource management of Vista is to blame for it…).

So yeah, window mode all the way

btw, who cares about the patch notes? It’s practically the same every single week unless there’s an event change: no update, no relevant bug fixes, no love for the game and random stuff “fixed” that I wonder about how people even found out about when running the game.

That’s also the reason why I’m ultra-casual mode now; no reason to farm anything, just level slowly with Siaulai, check daily Saalus: if it’s Canyon or Maussoleion, I just leave the dungeon (pf course I go in solo) and try again.
No reason to wait x hours a day for Saalus parties just to get 2 shards per char if there’s nothing to aim for, some days I get 0 shards and some days I get 2 per char…
Since I got no Practonium yet, why would I even have a reason to rush the game? Just do my lvl 50 dungeon to reroll the cube and get my 8 10* Ellaganos cards completed, waiting for April-May to check for any decent bug fixes.

The game is pretty dead right now anyway, so who cares anymore?
Spending time has gotten really atrocious, neither ingame nor the forum (especially the suggestion section) is rewarding you for the time spent or the contribution you make towards the community.

The Staff ignores everything you post unless it’s bull%^&* and doesn’t even wants to argue about anything that could’ve a negative impact on the game [which is practically as bad as banning people for having other opinions (look at my.com&Revelation online for more references of this kind of behaviour)], a technique I detest the most as it’s common in nowadays world for those with money and influence [politicians, actors, “royality”, conglomerate leaders/managers]…

Borderless window?

Premium Hairstyles 50% OFF Until March 7

I’d buy a new hairdo/dye for my chars if it’s sold by other players…
Still sad they aren’t tradable.

I don’t have any trouble about switching, and my computer is far from the perfection x).

It’s not about having problems but there is the lack of useful alternatives to Aero and Alt+Tab. Full screen requires me to Alt+Tab to get back to Desktop, and if I have other programs like a Visual Novel or Firefox, Windows Media Player or my graphik card control center open, I have to either toggle through all those stuffs with Tab or choose the first one and then get back to the Desktop.

It’s a hassle since I play with a controller, so if I just want to have a quick peek at sth, I can use one hand to move the mouseand click in that task bar at the left side of the screen and choose where to switch. I also have a clock running with the real time (not that stupid UTC or whatever server time) in my field of view with this

Tell me, what’s better playing like this:

if you can also play like this:

And everything you need is just one move of the mouse away?

It’s also easier to close the game client once crashed (happens often enough on my Sadhu) or disconnected because you can just click on the X in the right upper corner and save you the frustration from non-working Exit-option ingame, having to Ctrl+Alt+Del out via Task Manager or Alt+F4 if the Windows Explorer didn’t also crash xD.

It’s same for me as you will need to pick up your mouse anyway. I’m a controller user only too .

Tbh, I feel the game runs better on fullscreen mode than on windowed mode, not sure if 100% right tho.

maybe it has more to do with your taskbar been on the sides other than top or down…

and it’s also about taste…

Some games run better in fullscreen mode because Windows will treat it with higher priority. In most cases the difference is not really significant
