You can’t report people for your stupidity.
Thnx for be polite sharing your opinion, so, are you trying to say with your tottally respectfull answer that if i scamm to other (stupid) people i’ll not have any negative consequence?
I repect your useless comment but i think honestly that i’m not stupid, i checked the trade, and he/she/it canceled the trade twice, i though he/she/it was kidding me so i was confirmed it automatically the last time.
I want to punish Bubitos because he was not fair, I’m not talking about my stupidity, i’m talking about the scammer.
still kind of your fault bro
As deceiving is unforgivable, your naivety for not checking the item you were trading for is also your fault, you deliberately pressed the trade button.
So, if i do the same i’ll be not punished? Then i have nothing to lose if i cheat other people, is it right?
I cant really see what went wrong.
You didn’t really provide any information what the issue is.
My guess is you wanted to buy an arde dagger and he gave you a main gauche instead? The chat doesn’t really make that clear.
If that’s the case:
Unfortunately it probably will be hard to punish him since you clicked the “confirm” button without checking what kind of dagger he gave you. In every buisness deal, regardless whether it’s virtual or real life, the buyer is responsible for checking the item he is getting from the seller before confirming the deal.
Of course it’s completely mean, immoral and unethical what this Bubitos guy is doing and i wish he was punished for it, however you must admit that it’s partly your fault for not checking the item before accepting the deal.
BTW: You can’t really say “i was scammed by a robber”, since technically you were not robbed. A robber is someone who steals things. He is a scammer, not a robber.
You lose your dignity.
Lmao i dont know why i heard that in my head with Morgan Freeman voice.
That’s true, in the next image you can see how he is trying to cheat to other people again.
Ok, thnx, my english is very poor sorry.
Sorry for being rude earlier, the most you can do now is warn people about this guy on your server and just be more careful next time.
Did he/she force you to trade and then press confirm?
NO!
So it’s your own fault for not reading properly and still making the trade.I know you feel stupid and cheated but hey at least you got fooled on a cheap item rather than something very rare.We can’t help you nor the devs can help you.Your angry for justice but your not going to get it because the devs nor us can cure stupid.
Live and learn lol
Thx for the awareness though…
Next time read each word(s) 10 times before confirming the trade.I may be mean but the truth hurts and tough love is always the kind love that sinks in with people like you. With a lot people calling you stupid you will forever remember this thread and be smarter when your making a transaction in the future.
well, that’s not true at all, scam is illegal ingame and outgame. In ebay, Amazon, in almost every site people that get scammed recive their money back. Phishing is a scam too, and if you lose your pass via scam you can report it and get it back. In ragnarok, for example, you can report a scammer if you have a chatlog and some screen, and it happens frequently, weapon or armor without slot sold at the same price of the slot one. Only in a poor game, without any gm at all, were 70% of the population are botters, scammer will win against you.
It’s not a scam, the guy didn’t change the name from Arde Dagger to Main Gauche. If he read it properly he would of known what was going on.If the guy would somehow change the name of the item to something different then that would be scamming.
Just a fool got played and doesn’t bother to read…simple as that.
For example
If I go shopping and I want to buy a shirt brand name Rockwear but instead I didn’t read the brand name properly and got a shirt with “Rockwean”.Who fault is that?
LMAO
Like I said the person didn’t force him to trade nor he changed the item name and stat. It’s good for him that it happened now then later.
Well… OP wanted to be smartass and buy really cheap Arde Dagger (300k for Arde which is going on market for about 600k… yeah). So he wanted to be clever and ended up being scammed. Probably OP thou ‘‘wow thats some noob there, i’ll buy it for 14 talts now, im so clever, yeah’’.
So whats the end of things? Don’t try to be smart ass.
Love how people are defending an obvious scammer.
Of course i was not forced, I saw an offer saying that he was selling an arde dagger (rockwear) “very cheap” (he said it on the broadcast) not a main gauche, i wouldnt accept a main gauche at all (rockwean), the arde dagger had 5 of durability so i expected a cheap price. Then he changed the item the third time and i confirmed the trade, he confused me because he cancelled the trade three times, that was tottally intentioned, so it is a scam because the itention was clearly that, selling me a cheaper weapon (main gauche/rockwean) for a LOT more money.
Yes, it is a type of known scam.
They place the proper item the first 1 to 3 times and claim a mistaken cancel, thats to make you feel rushed and so you wont noticed when the “swap” is done.
In this case it worked because the image of both daggers is similar.
Now I wonder if colored names (an addon) would help with this?
The point is “Learn” to read and double/triple/quadruple check when you trade. You deserve to get “scam” if you weren’t caution enough to make sure if it was legit.
Either way I can bet you that this will never happen again with you LOL.If it does,i’m pretty sure you will feel too shameful to post another thread getting “scammed” again.
Answer me this did he force you to press confirm?
The lesson is learn and it should happen again.[quote=“thedarkdrakoon, post:17, topic:309823, full:true”]

If no then it’s your fault for being stupid and naive.
^Karma caught to you faster then you expect when you tried to cheat yourself in getting the Arde cheaper. This “scam” was well deserve for you to learn not to be so stupid.
Sorry if you feel that I am an as.shole but the truth is I was like you and someone gave me reality check that not all people are fair and decent. From that day often I learn to always take my time to check every transaction I made in game or real life.
I feel for people like you and it’s this kind of reply that will sink in and be remembered to be more careful next time around. We all learn something every day so use this to your advantage and move forward. This is my last reply for this topic because I said everything I had to say to you.
Good luck on TOS and enjoy!
I’m sorry, but you were naive. In every game, I always check the item I want to buy or exchange. That’s because I got scammed once too (7 years ago or so…?) because I was totally dumb and got the bait lol. It was my fault and I was aware of it, so I didn’t create a post about this event on the forums. I was kind of ashamed…
But anyway, even if that person disconnects 2-3 times, you always have to check the item you’re buying! Even if it takes some more seconds, it’s better to prevent than being sorry.
This is your lesson. Until he is banned (or something?), continue spreading word about him. Hope you’ll be more careful next time! Good luck.
