Sadhu + oracle + monk questions

hello. i have some questions about this 2 classes.
the first question is about death sentence:
-death sentence works in pvp? works in boss?
the second question is about sadhu combined with priest:
-actually im a cleric c1 and priest c2. blessing doesnt work with out of body but sacrament does. isnt better then do a skill reset and put more points in sacrament?.
the third question:
-how possesion cast works now? if i use it some methers away from enemy and the enemy walk right to the zone is binded? he can do basic atacks inside the zone? how much easy is to use it in pvp?
fourth question:
-my original idea was be a full support but some players say "a full support doesnt worth cause in higher lvls only can heal and do nothing more that, but if you have a dps class like sadhu can be more useful cause can active your buffs and then do the dps away while your time have the boss focus. then is that real? be a full supportive class doesnt worth in higher lvls? (200+)
5th question:
-what about priest c3 + monk c2? blessing and sacrament efects give more damage to monk skills like double punch or palm hit? and how much useful can be this combination? i mean, stone skin + golden bell shield and iron skin sounds like too much tanky?

really need some help cause, priest c2, sadhu c2 and oracle was my original idea but now i don know if worth or onot :frowning:
thank you and sorry for my english.

Yes, you could drop or leave at level 5 if there are spare points in case you are in a party and you are the sole cleric.

I think what they meant is, right now, in the current state of the game it’s not viable, specially because at later levels you barely find groups and might found yourself shouting desperately for grinding/dungeon groups.[quote=“arodlo, post:1, topic:121870”]

I’m not sure about your final goal, i myself am making a monk, Cleric > Priest C2 > Paladin C1 > Monk C2, my build is this one

  • Don’t know about death sentence, i tested priest3/sadhu/druid in this beta.

  • Depends on how much you use oob. Sacrament only adds +40 dmg per one oob attack max. If you auto attack more then max blessing.

  • Better get a second opinion as it got recently changed, but i heard it’s cast in front of you as a channel. Enemies that come into contact cannot move but can still attack if they are in range. You can be interrupted if you take damage during the channel now though.

  • Full support is worthless in this game tbh. It’s far to easy to build some combination of roles into your build with barely sacrificing anything. If you forgo damage entirely then you’re going to have a very annoying time leveling and likely will need to skip certain mobs entirely. You’re also not preferable to a class that offers support and damage, due to the 5 player limit in parties.

  • You’re not going to use golden bell or iron skin, they’re worthless channel skills with to short duration and to long cd. Stone skin ranges from very good to outright worthless depending on what you’re fighting. Pure physical mobs also get a bit rarer at higher levels. But that can still change around with the upcoming content. You will however bump into the 5 buff limit a lot as a priest 3.

Never go priest/sadhu though. I cannot stress it enough. It’s just not a viable combination. I ended up ignoring my entire sadhu circle because i couldn’t use oob reliably. Sadhu is also better as int build vs priest being better as a str/dex or spr build.

  • Blessing & Aspersion are outright useless during oob.
  • Sacrament only adds 40 dmg for each oob attack with 3 circles of priest.
  • Resurrection is decent but deals crap dmg.
  • Mass heal is just better if you can reposition asap to heal as much people as possible. Sadhu’s do not get that luxury unless they cancel oob.
  • You also cannot prevent incoming damage well enough to keep oob usage constant, which is the biggest issue out of them all.

If you want to go monk then imo go:

  • Priest3/Monk2. Gets stone skin and a bit better dmg from sac/blessing. Annoying with buff limit though.
  • Priest2/Krivis/Monk2. Gets Daino to bypass the buff limit and gets really good spr based debuffs/buffs from zalciai, monstrance and deprotected zone.
  • Priest2/Paladin/Monk2. Bit easier to level, gets better healing and sp regen. Still hits the 5 buff limit but gets resist elements instead of stone skin. (not exactly as good, but still quite good)

1.what about priest c2, krivis c2, oracle to do pve and pvp (2 question-2 answers)
1.1 priest c3 (stone skin and revive 10), krivis c1, oracle.
2.priest c3 and monk c2 damage how much can be? how much useful is in pvp and in a dungeon with a party?
3.as i noticed, i can focus on pvp or pve but not both right?
4.blessing and sacrament damage cant be more high with more sp or int?

  1. For pvp i can’t say anything for sure as i didn’t test it. Oracle could be useful due to death sentence. But Zaibas isn’t practical for pvp. You’d have to rely on enemies being stupid enough to walk into it and to stay in it.

For pve it’s on the low end side. Zaibas is good for int builds. But you lack the spells to make it a int build. Where as priest is good for str/dex builds. You can do a ok ish spr based physical dmg build but it won’t be the best build for such a class. (Priest2/Krivis/Pardoner/Oracle is more preferable for that imo, works some profit and condition removal + magic def into the mix)

1.1 A bit better for pvp due to exorcise imo, if someone’s stupid enough to walk into it. (not that unlikely, it looks a lot like cure and nobody expects cure to do huge dmg) But still has to few damage skills. But sturdier then your previous option.

For pve: It’s junk. Exorcise is crap in pve due to sheer amount of mobs. Stone skin and the healing is nice but krivis/oracle offers next to nothing to fill the gaps in your build. (Oracle is only good for the occasional rare mob, Forecast to get allies hit less and prophecy to prevent conditions) And well majority of good dmg options for cleric are tied to r6. (r3paladin, r2monk and druid respectively) The one build that has plenty of dmg earlier one (sadhu) will want druid for the 10s invuln with a 30s cd.

  1. I’m not sure how exactly it relates to other dps classes. Though it should be worse obviously. However it’s still one of the best damage builds for cleric and features several long ranged attack skills and dots making it quite good for pvp. (There’s quite a few youtube vids of energy blast decimating others in pvp) As for pve it’s still one of the best healer builds along with pretty solid damage. Should have no issue getting into dungeon parties. (but that’s true for all priest2/x/monk2’s)

  2. It varies. Stat distribution tends to be different for pvp, And some skills see little use in pvp but plenty in pve and vica versa. But there’s also builds like druids who work fine in both. Plop down a zaibas & carnivory and telepath a enemy into it.

  3. Blessing and Sacrament do not scale with any stat. Attributes add majority of dmg for blessing and for sacrament it’s purely in the skill level.
Though having a extra hit from items like the cafrisun set does allow you get more mileage out of blessing/sacrament. But that effect is currently one of a kind as far as i know.
