Sadhu C1 and Druid C2 vs Sadhu C3

So I’ve been getting help recently for my cleric and have gotten more interested in Sadhu. I’m kinda torn apart now thanks to Sadhu’s OOB skill. I’m not sure of how far 190 range is at Sadhu C1 max OOB level which came down to this discussion.

Sadhu C1 > Druid C2 Build. This was what I was suggested. A pretty straightforward dps build with OOB as a filler skill while I wait for the CD of other skills.

However

I came upon the idea of going Sadhu C3 instead. By having a long ranged OOB, I can stay real far back and just attack with ectoplasm while throwing out heals from Cleric C2 in front of my actual body as support during boss fights where my party members can just come back to and heal up before rejoining the fight.

As for stats, I’d go with very high int and some con/spr along the way, con being prioritized more. Which build would be better? Do share your thoughts

sadhu 3 offers literally nothing other than a stronger possession, oob range is a nice boost but nothing too significant.

don’t rely much on oob since auto attacks have a ratio of 3 or 4 which means only 2 mobs of medium size getting hit.

i’m a cler 2 bokor sadhu (here) sadhu 2 PD and i use oob to kill weak mobs that are usually the flying type and use effigy and oob to take down bosses.

Tl;dr oob is a damage filler with the same strength of an auto attack ( stronger with arde) and shouldn’t be your main focus.
i’m learning towards build 1

Krivis

Ok, in my own personal experience, krivis is maybe the worst class in the entire cleric tree. I will give you a little bit of insight on each of his skills:

  • Aukuras - 99% of time it will be useless. Only reason to even have it is if you consider animus build or a crazy combo with squire’s food table buffs. Even then, the huge cooldown and the fact it’s placed statically on the ground makes it a terrible skill.

  • Zalciai - Only useful on VERY specific scenarios. The good thing about Zalciai is the critical resistance debuff decrease it provides. In a SPR heavy build you can have a strong enough zalciai to make you crit even without any dex at all. And for your party members, if they have some DEX then they will probably crit with a 90% probability or more. Still, the skill is very limited because you need mobs to cross it and the duration it stays on the floor is very limited (5 seconds?) even at level 15.

  • Zaibas - This skill is quite “meh”. It is not actually stronger than Cure from cleric, but it will have a slightly wider range and hit flying mobs. The reason why Cure is better is because Cure has holy element, which is by far the best element in the game. No mobs in game are currently resistant to holy damage and most of mobs weaknesses in game are holy. With the two overheats, Zaibas will hit exactly the same amount of times as Cure (if they’re the same skill level).

  • Daino - A good buff to increase max buffs. It’s mostly useful if you have priest3/chaplain in your party. Otherwise, it’s usually hard to reach the max buff cap (considering you level up the attributes and have a token). Still, it is maybe the only useful skill from krivis. The sad part is that it doesn’t need many skill levels: as low as level 5 will do.

  • Divine Stigma - Quite bad skill. The INT/STR buffs don’t scale up with ranks (you get 10% extra STR/INT per new class rank you get in case you don’t know). But the biggest issue to me is how hard it is to debuff an enemy: not only enemies can RESIST the divine stigma, the cast time (animation of your character casting it) is quite slow and sometimes your party members will kill the monster before you can finish casting it.

  • Melstis - This skill has currently no big reason to have. It sounds very nice indeed, but the amount of buffs it can affect is actually very limited. The best combo I’ve seen so far with Melstis is dievdirbys 3 Ausrine statue (increasing invulnerability time). But still, it’s not that useful considering you have to stand still channeling the skill and not do anything else.

In short, getting cleric 3 is much more valuable than krivis (in my opinion). You get extra amount of heals, cure (which is comparable to Zaibas), and more divine might levels. The only thing you’re possibly losing out on is Daino, but then you have Daino scrolls in market for that…

Sadhu

Ok, sadhu is a little bit more tricky to judge. Sadhu 1 is definatly garbage, but Sadhu 2 gets possession, which might be the strongest AoE skill clerics can get. Out of body is currently garbage, and other skills like astral explosion are currently too bugged to be used effectively (after using explosion you get positoning issues, etc). So basically, you’re a one trick pony. You get this very strong skill with short cooldown, but also that’s everything you get.

Conclusion

Krivis feels like a bad class overall. Krivis 3, when compared to Cleric 3 is quite underwhelming. You can always pick Cleric 3 Krivis 2 to have BOTH cure and zaibas for dealing damage, but then again, I’d always prioritize cleric over krivis.

I usually opt away from krivis to pick something more supportive (like dievdirbys) as I find that more useful than zaibas alone. Dievdirbys also gets that awesome owl statue that surely deals more damage than Zaibas (but longer cooldown).

Sadhu 2 is worth it, but it’s a one skill class. Don’t go for Sadhu 3.

I’m not going to give my opinions on Druid because I haven’t played them extensively yet. But they seem like a pretty solid class for INT builds.

Cleric C2 levels a little slower solo than Krivis C1 imo  And also, Krivis’ Zalciai has that magic amp attribute which could be useful since I’m going for an INT build. At least, thats what I think… Maybe I could go for Cleric C1 > Krivis C1 > Cleric C2 >Sadhu C1 > Cleric C3 > Sadhu C2 > Oracle/PD? I considered Diev in my theorycrafted builds before but I’ve read that Diev skills at C1 aren’t really worth it and the more powerful damage skills scale better with str or something? Plus it attacks only in a specific area so you have to focus on only one area instead of being free to move about throwing zaibas and such iirc…

After reading mrshadowccg breakdown of Krivis and it’s skills, I have to disagree with just about everything he said. Each class has a unique skill set. Learning how to maximize it’s use effectively is up to the player. Perhaps he had a bad experience as Krivis…who knows. Here’s my alternative take aside from the obvious…

KRIVIS:

 Aukuras - Use it as a lure for excessive mobs. Sometimes it’s good to have them beating on it than you while waiting on cooldowns. Rank3 is all you need.

 Zalciai - What dps job doesn’t enjoy a -Crit resistance for mobs and a +Crit boost for themselves? Rank3 should be enough for the attributes.

 Zaibas - It’s NOT weaker than Cure. It has a longer circle duration and wider splash damage area (with attribute).

 Daino - Nothing like having a crap ton of buffs when able to in party play.

 Divine Stigma - Hardly a bad skill, but does take some timing to perfect and weave into your rotation. I wish this was a better designed skill, but get good and learn how to master using it. Extra STR & INT boost to dps in party in nothing to sneeze at.

 Melstis - Channeling the skill when you’re just waiting on cooldowns isn’t a bad idea, especially during party play. Might as well keep those awesome dps buffs going for the party.

SADHU:
-Rank1-
 Out of Body - Great synergy with Safety Zone, which is why getting Cleric2 is highly recommended. A good filler skill to use when Zaibas and Carnivory are on cooldown. Allows you to get in close for attacks without getting nailed by those nasty boss attacks. You can still cast other spells while in OoB too! Also another skill to use against flyers.

 Astral Body Explosion - Safety Zone about to expire? Pop this and blow up anything in range, dealing decent aoe damage and knocking down enemies (attribute allows you to turn this feature on/off). Oh yeah, you can use this skill to pull mobs too!

-Rank2 -
 Possession - Awesome aoe skill.

-Rank3- Don’t bother…not worth getting.

DRUID:

 Carnivory - Your best burst damage skill, but it doesn’t work on flyers. I can live with that though, since I’m melting mobs’ HP with a quickness.

Your dps skill rotation would look something like this…

Heal x2 > Safety Zone > Cure > Zaibas x2 > Chortasmata > Carnivory x2 > Out of Body attacks > Astral Body Explosion > repeat.

There’s plenty of videos out there that show how good Krivis and Sadhu can be utilized. Sometimes the style of play might not be suited for the style of play you prefer.

I consider zalciai magic amp pretty lackluster. On lower levels it may seem nice a +48 magic amp buff, but later on you won’t even bother buffing yourself with it due to zalciai’s rather short duration. 48 magic amp is only around 48 more maximum magic damage.

Also, if you pick sadhu, I recommend taking sadhu 2 asap. Otherwise you’ll be stuck with a rather useless class (Sadhu 1) and as you level up getting more classes is obviously slower and harder. Also, at least one level in Fade from cleric 2 is nice to have and use together with Out of Body when all your skills are on cooldown in case you’re soloing.

For diev, the only skill scaling with STR is carve attack. Owl statue scales with INT. Diev 1 is indeed a bit lacking, so it’s good taking at least diev 2.

I’m not going to deny your point of view, so I’m going to just make a comparison between Cure and Zaibas and the OP can decide which one he prefers the best:

Cure

  • Holy attribute
  • Hitlocks enemies that pass through (granted you are using the attribute)
  • Hits faster than Zaibas
  • Removes status effects
  • Shorter cooldown (only 3 secs tho)
  • Hit counts will decrease if a player is inside Cure square
  • Smaller AoE area
  • Doesn’t hit flying mobs
  • Hits only 1 mob a time
  • Lesser base damage (not a huge difference at late game)

Zaibas

  • Bigger AoE area (area is about 4x4 cure squares)
  • Hits flying mobs
  • Can splash and hit many mobs at once
  • Two overheats allows you to position them separately (better to kill two separated groups of mobs)
  • Hits slightly slower
  • Lightning element (much worse than holy)
  • Doesn’t hitlock enemies
  • Having to cast twice to achieve same damage as Cure, means you take longer to pull out similar DPS.
  • Splash damage attribute can be a big problem: When partying with a linker, it will decrease amount of hits but not deal the damage of those hits through joint penalty. Also, splash attribute means sharing damage equally among mobs, this means mobs that don’t die to the zaibas will all be left with little hp (instead of killing a few of them).

Circle duration barely matters, neither of them will last the whole 20 or 30 seconds.

After reading these I suppose I’ll go with a Sadhu C2 which would be Cleric C1 > Krivis C1 > Cleric C2 > Sadhu C1-2 > Krivis C2 > PD (incinerate) / Cleric C3 (better heal, cure and such) / Druid C1 (for some carnivory)

Something like that… I’m not so sure of which class to get at which rank though since it’d be nice to go Krivis C1 into Krivis C2 but that would mean I would have to lose Fade and extra Safety Zone protection when I enter the Sadhu Phase…

Or maybe I should just forget about Krivis C2 or Krivis itself to prep my character to transition into Sadhu?

Do you think Sadhu C1 would be okay just for the OOB as a filler skill though? Since the other skills from other circles have fairly long cool downs…

Don’t bother getting sadhu if u stopping at class 1 for OOB. Your auto attack with cafrisun and sacrament do more dmg and they are easier to land too. :joy:

I’m not going priest though lol. OOB is supposed to just fill in the gap between my burst cooldowns since my normal attacks will either deal peanut damage or miss due to no dex or str :<

Hmm…to execute OOB u need to cast safety wall or fade in order to not get interupted and then u have to run after them to hit them. If the monster get low on hp, they tend to run away and more chasing. Oh if u fade while doing OOB on boss, they will regenerate back to full hp :joy:. facepalm. And if u use Astral bomb, u find yourself in position bug forever. i.e whenever u move, u will always be pull back to the same position where u are until u cast OOB to remove the bug. They are so many thing wrong with sadhu now that make u cry. And I lvl my Cleric > Krivis > Cleric 2 > Sadhu> Sadhu 2 > Druid with auto attack (cafrisun + sacrament) as filler to lvl 190 without a single point add to dex and I didnt miss at all. Just ahead up for u to know what u getting at before u regret it. Sadhu possession is awesome btw. It the only thing that keep me picking it over other class for dps. 20s cooldown and 29hits with 5 target and CC. :joy:

Lel in that case I’ll just go Cleric C1 > Krivis C3 > Cleric C2 > Druid C2. I’ll just try Sadhu when the bugs are fixed I guess, since OOB seems fun haha, maybe with a bokor or something ^^

Sadhu 2 is the only worthy circle for this class. Possession or bust, all the other skills are just fluff. OOB is weak and clunky to use.

Depends on a lot of situations. Out of the box the skill is bad, but you can work on the long run to make it better.

First of all, with the latency issues we have, it’s really bad to play with OoB. First we need the lag to be fixed to make this skill manageable.

Second, the skill has good damage against Ghost Armor enemies, but the problem is, only a few monsters in this game wear Ghost Armor.

OoB has an attribute to increase its damage. The damage will get reasonable only after you spend dozens of millions of silvers to maximize its attribute, and spend more to refine your weapon and get good items for more raw magic damage.

With max attribute OoB damage will be magic damage * 3, so like I said before, it’s a skill you should patiently evolve instead of relying right now.

Krivis Divine Might grants a nice buff to OoB, but it’s really hard to activate this bug on higher level enemies with high HP, so it’s not something to actually consider.

What status scales with OOB? Int, str?

Int  which is pretty much why it shouldn’t miss at all

Getting 1 Rank of Sadhu is not as horrible as people seem to think. Could you get a different filler class here? Sure, but I feel all the other skills in Sadhu Rank1 are under appreciated. It’s because of the long cooldowns that I suggest that Sadhu Rank1 is a viable option with good utility. Once you get Carnivory, your skill rotations have less dps downtime. I’m just trying to give OP a fair idea of how to continue with his current class without having to reroll. From a sheer dps standpoint, you’re not going to be as good as Wizard or Archer dps. Despite that, you have plenty of utility and the ability to heal, buff, AND provide good burst dps.

1 rank on sadhu is a waste - better getting extra rank on cleric for more healing tile and stronger cure/safety zone / Divine Might

Cleric3-Sadhu2 here, planning on Druid2 to finish the build.

I love my build so far, because of the multitask possibilities and the character effectiveness in every role. During missions, I often out-dps my archer friend (A1-Ranger3-Flectcher1) especially on Poata who takes more dmg from Possession (2k+ per tick).
You can easily turn healer because of Cleric3, you can tank bosses with your 50hits bubble-shield, and when bosses start their aoe patterns you can continue to do dmg with OOB while other DDs have to run away for their lifes

However, I wouldn’t suggest going on Sadhu c3 since it doesn’t bring as much on the table than Druid1; ofc Sadhu3 means stronger Possession, better OOB range etc, but imho, it’s quite underwhelming compared to Carnivory and Telepath (if you’re planning to PvP) ; plus, taking Druid1 at rank 6 allows you to have c2 on rank 7, which means unlocking Sterea Trofh as soon as it is available (for reference, its an invulnerability zone, 10s uptime for 30s cooldown) ; and this skill is just perfect to do a way better job, be it in a defensive or aggressive role.
And Carnivory lv10… almost 80k flat dmg in 10s, every 30s. Going Sadhu 3 and losing this would be a real waste - at least, if you plan your character as a DD/off-heal. You don’t wanna lose that
