Saddhu3 or Cleric/Druid2 for Krivis3/Taoist3?

As the title say.

Besides that,

  1. 3xchappa for red card? There is other card that is good for this build?

  2. frostbite works on boss?

  3. Druid3 would be better than taoist3? Metlsis works on lycan demi-human?

The tradeoff™

Sadhu 3: More damage bonus from Transmit Prana AND Goddess of Fire & Melstis. Great for any DPS builds, honestly.

Cleric/Druid2: More heal tiles. You also gain damage-over-time, invulnerability, and heal-over-time.

From what I gathered from previous posts, Melstis doesn’t extend lycan’s duration.

If you want Taoist, you should pick the whole tree. C3 gives so much in terms of damage. Just don’t expect Exorcist-level damage.

I guess it is like this: if you can make sure your Taoist gets good gears, Sadhu 3 can make you even more powerful. That’s why people usually pair Kri 3 Sad 3 with Exo 3 for juicy damage. Your toon will be “pure DPS” though so accept that you wouldn’t support well with it.

On the other hand, Dru 2 has more attack skills as well as heal-over-time. I just think that they make a good support build that can bite. Besides, Taoist is a support class. All the lightning damage boost it offers is complementary. They should’ve excelled in support just as the class color implies.

Pretty much trading heal for more dps. Although druid is also strong, its core skill cannot hit flying enemies (except carnivory with upper level).

Also confirm that melstis doesn’t affect lycan (human form).

I find cle1 kriv3 diev1 druid3 tao2 is good candidate as well. It has low sterea and lycan downtime and still has enough heal for party.

Im trying with c2 - krivis3 - diev - miko - tao3. Many druids around (myself included) so I added diev - miko for less cd and xtra support for melee w kagura.

I used to roll with the Diev/Miko version before changing to Druid 2.

Pros

Diev/Miko

  • Spammable cleanse/remove buff skill (Gohei)
  • Up to 60% more melee damage buff (Kagura)
  • 20% CD reduction
  • Hamaya can hit air
  • +1 to Tao charms and Zaibas from Sweeping

Druid

  • Area invuln for 10s (Sterea Trofh)
  • Perma HP regen (Chortasmata)
  • Carnivory + Chortasmata hits more area, is more spammable and does more damage in an AOE.
  • CC skill (Thorns, ground mobs only)

Cons

Diev/Miko

  • Statues moderately long cooldown, so less useful in dynamic content.
  • Less personal offensive options.
  • No secondary invuln option.
  • Kagura buff is channeling, so you need to focus on either support or attacking as using Kagura will almost always mean that you need to use it in tandem with Safety Zone or get interrupted prematurely.

Druid

  • Skills are ineffective (Carnivory/Chortasmata) or only half effective (Thorns) against aerial mobs. This issue used to be able to be mitigated with Tao2’s Upper Level charm, but after the Druid rework it doesn’t seem to work properly with Chortasmata/Carnivory anymore.
  • No secondary debuff cleansing option (have to stick with Cure)
  • Only +1 to installation skills from Divine Might (Miko get +2 with Sweeping)
