Sadbu stats distribution?

Hey there guys,

Amongst other classes I have seen so far I found Sadbu’s gameplay looked pretty interesting so I will be first testing this class for my first gameplay experience in the upcoming beta.

However there are some discussion between people what kind of stats that should be given while leveling up.

I am planning to focus on giving “int” stat mostly but some of the dearly members of this forum also talked about how giving “str” would be also another choice but I am not too sure about that because if I am not wrong this you can focus on magic attack when your character’s soul is out of your body right?

So what kind of stats should I be using by the way? Should I only focus “INT” and as well as should I also give some “Spirit” at the same time too so that I would have more SP recovery rate?

I couldn’t find any good info about this class on the forum so sorry if this was talked before.

I am also planning to use @FatePGN build which seemed really fun. Here is his skill distrubiton by the way:

And his post about this build:

Thanks for the answers in advance!

From what I’ve seen, investing into solely INT should be a great choice unless you have problems dying and about SPR for SP for one particular skill, Vashita Siddhi which is %sp based which I’m on the fence about even getting until we have good estimates on what 1 point of stat reduction really amounts to in the end so I chose astral body explosion even though it has a long CD. My build path is pretty different, and my explanation on why I did mine like so might give you some idea’s on your own build. http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/gnsakxxg20/ Safety wall really synergizes with out of body state, and just having three high damage holy skills, heal, cure, and possession (while possession wont let the mob move from the cure placement) really seemed optimal to me, so I can stack holy damage on a weapon, this one in particular http://toswiki.treeofsaviorgame.com/item/weapon-mace/202107 . People underestimate cure’s damage imo, along with OOB basic hits are int based, here’s an example of full int cure damage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmQMvy36quw . level 5 heal is good enough because I can DM it to 15, or use DM offensively depending on the situation. My build saved four points from Sadhu circle 1 and 2 until it was needed as well. P.S. If I don’t see muh 2hu music uploaded for a week I’m gonna be mad.

Im pretty sure that cure is doing double it’s normal damage there because the monster is dark type and the cure damage is holy. Also (just FYI) it’s hitting so fast because of an attribute. Base is apparently 2 hits per sec.

So basically full INT, Cleric3, maxed Cure + all Cure attributes. and vs a Dark monster.
In final gameplay, I don’t really expect builds to be able to go pure INT in most cases. So I think a more realistic expectation for cure’s damage would be to imagine half the damage you see in the vid against most monsters due to property and then take 1/3 INT off that due to not being a one stat build.

Yes, Helgasercle is indeed a dark type, but overall I wouldn’t say that damage even halved wouldn’t be a massive amount at that level, considering as a sadhu you aren’t solely going to have your damage be cure. Currently the issues with stat balancing is single stat focus seems to be the route most classes go unless you are a heavy skill spammer, without vashita saddhi, I don’t see sp being too much of an issue considering skill cooldowns aren’t as spammy as a lot of other classes. CON/VIT though is a different issue entirely. CBT isn’t a good indicator for this as the AI seems to well…derp around a lot. Being close to one shot would definitely scare people away from doing a one stat build, but considering you aren’t supposed to be in much danger as a sadhu if you plan out what you’re doing while being out of body, as well as actually learning boss patterns and indicators will also mitigate this. That part would be preference really, if you’re afraid to get destroyed, definitely invest, if you feel safe enough and understand how to not get hit, go for it.

Hello!
A lot has changed since I made that build. Instead I would do this now if you want to play Sadhu:

As for stats, I would do 40/50 int, 40/50 dex/con to begin with, and then get whichever feels best to you to around 100.
Maybe 20 SPR, not too sure about that.

Int + either Con or Dex is probably the best option.
I would distribute it 5:3 but that’s just me.
