[SA] Silute! We need an AFK kicker!

We urgently need an AFK kicker for the server! It’s becoming impossible to joing the server quickly and you can see tons of players afk over the citys… is that hard to clearly see what we need? Please, make it work. Hope you guys can save this server and game…

No.

We need other server for SA players. as simple as that.

I like this idea.
Maybe after 10 minutes or something like that.
When the person comes back he may just connect again.

Of course the exception would be be Pardoners/Achies/Squires with their respective skills enabled.

I agree. At least as a temporary fix to the huge influx of players. Sometimes my FPS drops down to 10 or lower when in Klaipeda due to the amount of players, and most of them are always AFK.

As sokobanjr said, they can always reconnect again.

And characters with their skills enabled would not be counted as inactive players, thus, wouldn’t be disconnected.

I understand guys, we need another server but at the moment we really need a Kick AFK players system to implement more stability for the players who really really want to play and can not enter for queue. They should add a captcha or something like that every x.time, if you not complete them you will kick from the server, but make an exception to characters like Pardoners and others.

Personally, i wouldn’t really like an anti-AFK system that kicks you out after a few minutes.
Sometimes i alt-tab for a longer period of time to make skill plannings, equip searches, read the forums while waiting ingame for certain things to happen or do google searches to solve ingame problems and i’d hate it if the game would constantly kick me out.

The game doesn’t need an anti-afk system, it needs proper optimization. If having 10~20 afk characters on screen is dragging down the FPS below 10 then it’s not the fault of the afkers but the fault of the game not being optimized properly. And if the server does not let you connect then the game needs better servers, more channels or more servers.

Also, a ton of server work is consumed by bots grinding and a lot of client work is consumed by bots spamming 200+ character long messages in town. If IMC was able to keep bots and bot spam more under control there wouldn’t be such a huge problem with connection queues (less grinding bots = more free slots for players) or lag in cities (less chat-spamming bots = less lag in cities).
Ragnarok Online for example auto-chat-bans all people who spam messages too fast and prevents them from spamming messages for 10~30 minutes. Something like this could really help against message-spamming bots in cities.
