[SA] Silute disrespect for Latino players or xenophobia to Brazilian players

When announced the creation of a server hosted in Latin America I thought it would have stability conditions to play with a low ping. But the reality is quite different.

Silute is the server with more problems for connection and even with a lot of regular maintenance are never solved.

Independent of requests, suggestions and criticisms of Latin players players IMC is silent and merely send a “compensation” of resets and exp books. I do not know who was who informed them that this is an acceptable compensation.

In my perception that the IMC did was mislead Latino players with server SA with the promise of a lower ping and to encourage change servers released information to regional values, which would be lower than the initial servers in order to separate the players into two distinct groups.

The fact of choosing Brazil to host the server was another stupidity. Everyone knows about disability in the country’s infrastructure. Of course it would not work.

Recently time Level Up Games (LUG), a Brazilian company games, announced that soon will open your ToS Server. What makes no sense. Because if there is already a server hosted in Brazil, with the possibility of payment in real by Steam, what advantage he could offer to players who are already playing ToS?

The game is translated to Portuguese is not an advantage. This was never a problem for Brazilians playing on servers Koreans, Russians, Chinese and others.

No Brazilian player will leave an international server to play in the LUG servers because the company has a vast terrible service to the community of Brazilian players.

By choosing to stay in an international server there is always the hope of receiving better services What does not exist in the LUG servers.

I realize that the fact that the Latin server is ■■■■ is due solely to the objective of forcing Brazilian players to migrate to the LUG server as soon as it will be opened. And for that the IMC is sacrificing the fun of all Latino players.

Do not be surprised if along with the opening of the LUG server Silute all the problems are solved.

I think it would have been much fairer IMC launched the ToS with IP Blok to Brazil saying that soon the Brazilian server would open the LUG. But some trainee IMC found that make players wait in a queue for 2 hs to be able to play even stating that the server is a low population was the best option.

After a few days when the game was released the very IMC said that the lag problem was because of the large number of players who exceeded their initial expectations and that the new servers have been opened.

I do not believe that the IMC team was unable to provide that to open the game to the F2P the same problem would occur. The least that should be done was open up an EU server, SEA and SA. To avoid congestion players and excessively slow on servers.

I pity the hispanos who are currently playing Silute. I know some of you guys are not any different in behavior (a couple days ago I met some spanish-speaking guy who kept requesting duel and insulting me when I told him to stop), still it sucks to deal with trashtalk all-day long in global chat summed up with server instability.

Now, knowing LUG will release their own version to Brazilians, it means Silute’s population will be lower than Orsha/Klaipeda, even worse, the current state will already have pushed away potential latino players, who will not return even if all brazilians move to the new server.

For all the trouble IMC must give us TP event at least 100

Sure Venezuela must be better or maybe Bolivia

Silute will be the next Orsha if it happens, a dead and empty server

if 70%(Brazilians players) moves to other server pretty sure the problems are solved, but like i said, Silute will be turned into a dead server.

*laugh * Sadly “Latino players” (hispanics) didnt deserve a server because they dont had enough players to fill it, its a waste of money, that why Brazilians are allowed to play in it.

agree

chill out dude, there won’t be transfer to lug’s server, silute will not die.

The server is S-O-U-T-H A-M-E-R-I-CA

NOT a Latin server

You are wrong, LUG will not open a server, they are only translating it to portuguese, and it’s gonna be optional, you will be able to change the language at the options settings. Only that. And the brazillians are actually the majority at the server, if they werent, u guys wouldnt be complaining about reading portuguese all the time.

The problem with the server is no the host, cuz it’s laggin to everybody, even the brazillians that live at the server city .-.

The real problem is that we are the only region that got one server, and we have lots of players, thats why. Its over crowded.

People fail to remember that Brazil is also a Latin country. Might be new to many people out there but doing a little research will show you that Brazilian Portuguese, that is derived from Portguese from Portugal, is indeed a Latin language, thus making Brazil a Latin country. Furthermore, Brazil is the largest country in South America with the most players.

As I see it, Brazilians and other spanish countries in South America all have problems with being very poorly behaved within the online community. I’d risk to say only about 30% of SA Silute’s playerbase are good and respectful towards other players.

Let’s be real here, any company that can handle a community full of “HUEHUEBRBR” players deserves a freaking medal. While they are bringing a portuguese translation to the game, I suspect Silute will not become a ghost town. On the contrair. I believe most of the players that can’t speak english will probably move to said server, leaving Silute with a healthy share of well versed players.

I see no problems with this. people need to think a bit with their heads off their asses.

The connectivity situation in Silute is probably due to the huge amount of players. Since it’s only one server for hundreds of thousands. The game is available on Steam so access to the game is simple, therefore generating the connectivity problems.

First let me explain what motivated me to write my post.

Since the opening of Silute server connection stability and the lag is a real problem that got worse with the opening of the F2P.

Earlier this week a friend sent me the news that talked about the LUG server.

Yesterday after 1h hour playing ToS I was disconnected from the game and try to get back to the game. I had to wait for an hour in line and was disconnected again in five minutes After having successfully connect in the game. As there is no concept of preferential connection in the ToS. I returned to the queue.

@nuclearmissile am not so childish to the point of thinking that just because something does not work as I want I’m prejudiced against.

Maybe xenophobia was not the best word to express myself, but in my nerd rage could not find a better word to express the feeling of being pushed out of the IMC servers.

In fact I’m wrong @leo_alag. It was my mistake not to have looked for more information about the LUG server. Now I read the proposal from LUG to the ToS server and it makes even less sense. Unless the IMC does not want to profit from the Brazilian players.

Some Brazilian players are really problematic @horu1, as also are some North US players. Not all Brazilian players are “Hue Hue Br Br” there are many nice players too.

That was precisely what I pointed out in my reply.
Everytime I see this kind of problem or hate towards brazilians would be because the Individual is representing the whole.

But Brazil does tend to have a very bad ratio of Good/Bad players.
