i’m planning to continue the leveling of my old swordsman which is currently lvl 170+ s>pel>hop c3>corsair
does this build will work?
current stats is 211str 34con 76dex(all stats without item)
anysuggestion please? deleting this char is acceptable since i’m planning to create a new 1 xD
Hop3 Corsair1 OR Hop2 Corsair2?
Both should work, but I personally favor Hop3 more due to having Spear Throw.
If you like AA-ing more when some filler skills inbetween, then Hop2 Corsair2 can work as well.

any suggestion for endgame class with my current path?
Im leveling a Sw 2 -> Hop2 -> Corsair 2 -> Dragoon 2, and the combo spear lunge -> serpentine -> 2x hexen -> dragontooth -> 2x DT is amazing
I prefer sword 2 over petalsta because of restrain + more dmage at concentrate and more time of pain barrier.
For PvP or GvG lvl 10 iron hook is good, and you can nuke ppl with DT in distance

give me the skill priority for corsair please? i have 8 unspent skill in corsair 1 and im on my way to corsair 2 today xD
and also should i buy arde dagger? i mean is it necessary or should i go for a dagger for lvl 170?

you should do corsair 2 -> dragoon 2! for the dps!!!
cosiar 3 will lack a lot of dps even with a rank 8 class.

If you have the spare silvers go buy Karacha rather than Arde.
If you can wait for the new Free dungeons to get release the dagger from there will be a better choice.

Gitgud, Bunshins are amazing if you have a proper class build up synergy.

If you have more silver, go to venom the con bonus is cool
nah, ahahah i just run out of silver because of token xD
Swordsman classes in ToS are bound to face more hardships than the other classes, being melee alone put us all at a bigger risk, etc.
The only grace so far is R8 brought swordies damage to the top.
But of course, that damage doesn’t come easy.
Dopps drops defense for offense
Fencers are required to crit
Murmillos need to go ninja and pay up over 20m worth of silver
And Goons… well, Goon’s DT’s 2overheat w/ 16k(lvl 5) base damage, is just that good

The Hop2>Sair2>Shinobi was great thing back in the R7 era.
S.Lunge>Hexen was an old bread and butter burst back then, add Shinobi for the build’s R7 and you’ll get
S.Lunge>Kunai
With 5 Bunshins, Kunai(pierce damage) gets amplified to 150% it’s base damage with SpearLunge, multiplied by 6(bunshins) then 2 by Kunai’s overheat.
The burst thru class build synergies that Shinobi’s Bunshins provides is great, which is why the current DPS minded Murmillos want to go Shinobi now since Shootingstar can be copied by Bunshins.
His build can still be salvaged by going Murmillo, given that he invested skill points in SynchroThrust which can be copied by Bunshins and get it’s damage increased by Murmillo’s helmet buff’s attribute.
tldr: If he wants to complain, he should try going Corsair3 that has 0 synergy with R8 classes to feel despair brought by IMC.
