A few points -

  1. Anyone who hates someone because of choices they didn’t make are, IMO, rather ignorant and not worth the brain cells it’d take for me to think about them. They do, however, have a right to hate whoever they want. They even, at least here in the states, have a right to speak about their hatred. You may dislike it, but it’s still a right they have.

It’s a freedom they should have, as well. Without getting into it, we need to be free to hate. If we’re not that means we live in a world where other people get to police our emotions and morality. Screw that.

  1. There are many people who hate Americans strictly for being American. Why is that nobody ever calls Xenophobia on that, but instead cheers it on? That’s a rhetorical question, obviously, because I know the answer (hypocrisy, stupidity, the ridiculous notion of “punching up”, etc).

  2. Trolls starve for attention. You cross posting their post here is giving them exactly what they want. If you want them to stop you don’t shine a light on them. You ignore them and move on. Doing this, right here, is just encouraging their behavior.

Anyone being xenophobic or racist towards anyone on whatever side deserves a ban. I’m so sick and tired of this fighting. I remember before I had to turn off global chat because it was filled with so much hate. Just shut up and enjoy the game and don’t play with people you don’t feel like. If you can’t take it then don’t play an international mmo where there will be people from all nations.
