It doesn’t bother me at all.
It kinda limits what you can set as an avatar but it doesn’t bother me at all.
I don’t see any problem with that

Since it fits with ToS theme and does not disturb us. No problem, right?
It’s just that I can see square avatars through my email notifications. So it’s not like it has a purpose.
