Yeah, that guy looks more like a field boss version of it, sure it can be killed, he move slow and all his blows are predictable, but damn he hit hard like hell, if he hit anyone 2 times he is most likely to die. Took me half a hour to kill him and no other quest boss is that strong, no other, he obviously need to be nerfed.

I remember fighting it on some Graveyard map (field boss). It was easy to avoid him as he is very VERY slow, and actually the only thing that i remember hurting me there was⌠my own attacks (due to reflect shield it abuses). I had to be careful with my multi shot timing (and it was still long). I did not made a rogue but if this thing in quest also have reflect shield and has the same amount of HP then it definetly should be nerfed. Difficulty is one thing, tedious slow progress on killing 1 boss that you know you will kill eventually is another. They need to lower its hp by half or more.
Sometimes it surprised me but c3 Scout quest advancement was very easy comparing to c2 scout quest when you had to fight vs Scout NPC that had instant Flare Shots. They should review all of class advancement quests.

I like the boss fine, mainly because the reason after getting into Rogue class I feel stronger way than ever lol so it worth all the efforts. Didnât die at all, but it was tough as hell, I was using Quarell C2 and the bullet skill animation almost kill me in almost every situation. Had my xbow up to +8 and I was using 25 CON.
I donât ask for nerf, but if there any, Iâll take it for granted for sure.

What skills did you have?
150k hp doesnt sound much.
And if that 3,5k hit is his skills, hes doable if you have dex.
Remember rouge advancment quest in RO?
Run trough a map filled with deadly monsters (abysall knights etc.).

Dunno how often i died till i got trough.
Others had cake walks ⌠rouge needed to look the danger in the eye.

Have you solo a world boss before? Thatâs is how a Rogue advancement class is. +15 bow or xbow doesnât matter, it tickles, even at level30 attributes bonus. Thereâs one and only abomination spawn and that is an instance of a world boss itself. Full dex or dex with some cons arenât that helpful. His attacks arenât dodge-able.
Yes it is hard. People having hard time finishing that quest. Some people even gave up doing it. Thatâs why you see rogue is rare than other archer class. Even with last exploit that people been talking, thereâs not much people taking rogue. Thatâs just how hard it is.
But, it was fun. At least for me. It gave the feeling of accomplishment and adventurous and most important is, EPIC WIN.
Theres was something really messed up with that boss. At the time, I was under the impression that, somewhat, it had its stats copie over from the WB Abomination. I had a +11 xbow and it didnt make any diff, plus he had the annoying habit of resetting out of nowhere. Took me 3 attempts, the 3rd one lasted almost 30 mins to kill the bugger.

Like they put it further down the tree line and forgot to adjust the boss ⌠ohh sounds imc like.
I was under impression it will be just another ez pz boss so I went in with level45 xbow with no enhancement I was in a rush with ~1 week of cbt left, I died 6-7 times I think thinking it was just another boss bug. And it took me almost an hour for the last time before I killed it.
It was fun, I enjoyed the success moment but also at the same time it giving me the feeling of âI would never want to go through that again, everâ lol XD
oh god, the boss is not that hard. If you know what you are doing it will be easy
Tips
- You will need an +8 or higher weapon (off-hand arde dagger if you use crossbow)
- Atleast 20 CON to not get one-shot by the boss
- Plate equipments, all boss attacks are physical
- Keep an mid range against boss. It will be hard to dodge itâs swing if you are too close and it will use reflect atk buff if you are too far
- Try to use multi shot only when you see it missed an long animation attacks
- Keep it on the middle of the map because itâs much easier to dodge than top or bottom
- Keep it on your âflare shotâ if you are an Scout (run if the Refect buff on, the boss will chase you but you will take like 6 tick dmg from reflected âflare shotâ)
Youâre only talking from selected class view. It doesnât apply to all.

- you have weak equipment
- you donât know how the boss attacks and mechanics
- you are just fail at the game

archer > quarrel > quarrel > scout
which other skill except âflare shotâ are much weaker than âmulti shotâ (lv5) against boss
why not ?
when other class got much more dps skill
ranger > barrage, spiral arrow
hunter > rush dog (5s cd oh wow)
archer c3 > double shot, multi shot lv 15
my class path is the worse for pve and i still donât have problem, so you just know what i mean
I think youâre missing the entire point of the thread here. Itâs not about how godly you are against abomination, you are not even advance to C2 rogue to compare it with anything. The boss itself is multiple times harder than any other class advancement is a fact.
No one cares if you able to take a video or not. Thereâs always kOBT for that and Iâm waiting for another reply like âI donât play kOBTâ because thatâs a norm. I can always said that I killed abomination in less than a second without using any bow and just kneeling shot the boss till its death. Sounds fair. And how can you say you were using plate but the boss hits you for 5k while others that using leather were hit for 3.5k.
ps: my class is archer > quarrel > quarrel > hunter > rogue > rogue. No, iâm not even godly with a mistake of hunter in between but i managed to cap myself at 200 less than two weeks before cbt end.

you pick hunter instead of scout, itâs still better in term of dps with rush dog

I donât see how you can kill fast (<5min) a boss that has 580000hp @ lv 130, please theorycraft a bit so I can understand?

Heâs full of it. I had a geared out ranger c3 that would melt bosses, with a +15 xbow / arde. It still took me 15 minutes to kill that boss.
The boss is broken and needs to be fixed. Thereâs no way itâs intended that a quest change boss spawns with enough damage to 1-2 shot people, and insane HP, when every other classâ rank 5 quest change is a breeze.
Especially now that boss AI is different - Abomination basically spams his reflect shield. Have fun not being able to attack it for 80% of the fight, and widdling down itâs insane HP.

Welcome welcome. Yes, you donât necessarily need to prove yourself but make sure your post being logical. In case youâre referring to tosbase abomination before that, fyi that one is misleading. It doesnât reflect the real thing. This thing is a known issue, GM already highlighted it in other post.
You failed to identify how my build failed miserably, and also failed to compare anything with C2 and any other class. Move on.
