How did they even tested this character?
Theres no way to determine if the mob in front of you will get hit by its skills.
The normal attack of weapons have greater hitbox than it’s skills.
All its skill shield have different hitboxes and some of them needs to get closer from the other.
The skills are fun, when you combo them right but the hitbox makes it really unfun to play.
The damage is mediocre compared to other sword class, but because of its shitty hitbox this makes it even worse.
Synchro thrusting without spear makes the hitbox so small that it will only hit 1 or 2 mobs that are very tightly close together in a straight line.
Shield bash hitbox is just like 2 tiles in from of the player… Even if you clump mobs together it will not hit the backline even if they are very close to each other. Same issue with shield shoving and slithering.
Compare that to the hitbox of peltasta like Umbo Blow and Rim blow which has a clear circlular and straight hit boxes which has the same maximum hit range.
PS. I’m Wearing a Head costum 1 2 3 with AoE +1 attack if that matters too.
It is quite Ironic swordsman needs to aim more than Archers in this game which is always point and click to them.
The video above shows that I need to position myself time and time again just to be able to hit enemies infront of me.
Honeymeli has a longer melee range compared to other mob that why some of my skills like shield bash won’t hit it without positioning myself literraly in front of the mob.
