Hey, clearing lv2 debuffs over a wide area is “something good”. Extending the duration of significant short duration buffs (like serpentine) is “something good”. They don’t sound impressive at all but they also scale “forever”, hence “something good”. Not spectacular, just “good”.
Being able to use cleric skills without being a cleric yourself is “something good”. Being able to have priest buffs without a priest present is “something good”. Being immune to status effects in pve is SPECTACULAR not just “something good”.
It’s underwhelming, but it does what imc wanted it to do. So why would imc look at it? That’s what I mean. There was the hub bub with reworking [simony] but that clearly didn’t push thru.
Now that’s just hyperbole to sell a point. It “is” useful to clear lv2 conditions over a wide area. It “is” useful to extend debuffs. It “is” useful to grant ANY CLASS status immunity via dispellers.
[oblation] isn’t even that big of a hassle.

- dump 1k stingers into it

Pardoners have use. They just aren’t as grand or spectacular as their iRL counterparts, hence the suggestion to make the combat skills more spectacular.
