No, it only applies to pistol and musket damage.
Sapper damage is counted as Strike and Piercing.
Sapper is “Decent” now but still an underdog.
It can do this instead.
More notable for aoe clearing on broom trap/claymore/collar bomb now and spike burst on bossing
