Ridiculous Unbalanced Game

Some of the guys here clearly just salty can’t have end game equips @@

Try to clear a dungoen 140+ or quests or maps like that. You gonna get killed.

Lvl 40 is meant to be easy, people are still getting introduced to the game.

Did you mean where only people who invested on their toons/gear and didn’t put close to no CON could clear it ?
Seriously. R8 content was tough, but everybody made it sound like it was impossible to do but it wasn’t. The problem is that most people wanted it to be given to them. They didn’t want to invest on their toons, they didn’t want to invest on their gear, they didn’t want to invest on attributes, they didn’t want to invest in pots.
Now IMC has dumbed it down so much it’s boring. My SPR/CON Linker 3-Chrono 3 can solo easily R8 maps even if she’s under leveled and group several mobs, and that’s stupid af. And no, she’s not using any of those “new players OP weapons” or any buffs. The buffs only make it faster.
The way it previously was was much better. You needed to be 2/3 to quest, grind or farm ? Big deal. It’s an MMO, it’s how it’s supposed to be.
To that you add the fact now you exp on your own without doing much.

Try that stunt inside dungeons and vs world bosses.
I am not going to what was past but, judging entire game with “quest bosses” is not good.
Try hunting grounds when you level up. Even with your lvl gears and buffs, you will die.

IMC should just introduce “Masochist mode quest play” for newbies like you where quest bosses have 9999m HP and 50k pdef, mdef and right from lv1.

Yeah the game is garbage if you want any kind of challenge, this is nothing new.

The worst part is when IMC does make something “hard” it’s just hard by being a stupid DPS check or enemies that oneshot you with unavoidable attacks.

The same excuse for any world of warcraft patch? Old content gets easier and soloable, new content is impossibly hard for the first months then gets softened. The problem? we got the softening patch but no new hard content, so the bosses are their response to that.

And yes, levelling to that expansion max level is just a time buffer on all the other top ranking mmo.

What really made the levelling look retarded is that we get 300+ levels instead of something more manageable like 100+, so the maps have to make retardedly high jumps in both difficulty and levels.

AHhahaAHAha
Oh my god!!

Post balance update in a nutshell:

  • monsters have low attack and defence stats now

  • secondary stats like defence, block, evasion now have low impact once a certain threshold is reached

  • players recieve their major HP boost by Class and level modifier now, in contrast to the situation before the balance update, making CON pretty redundant, too (unless you like to run around without armor just to troll other players or engage in “epic” P2W-… ehhh, I mean PVP-battles)

  • the game becomes easier as more and stronger defensive buffs are introduced (e.g. the boosting of Aspersion,Swell Right Arm, general overall armor defence, transcendence, yellow&blue gems, %-boosts in form of Nuaele-/Zaura card, armor enchant (Enchanter), armor maintenance (Squire),etc.)

  • the monster A.I. is insufficient to recognize the futility of their usual schemes/attacks against well-geared players and in general too lacking to make the game exciting; instead, battles are sponge fights that are uncoordinated brawls with only one goal in sight

  • the battle system is too 2-dimensional; knockdown/-back is the only really punishing mechanic ingame.

  • the game is just a huge DPS check that basically mass-creates damage-focused meta builds

  • the log formula for damage calculation makes damage reduction pretty easy; with 350 base defence [at level 330] + 750 defence via Aspersion, you already have 42% physical damage reduction against a 4000 atk level 330 field boss without wearing any kind of armor

So all in all, the holy trinity of easiness is the following:

  • bad mob A.I.
  • redundancy of secondary- , supposedly survival-focused stats
  • easy gear progression

I’d also add lack of strategy required. There are lots of classes that seem like they could add a layer of strategy to the game and combine with other classes in a party, like Sapper or Psychokino or etc., but ultimately they just become another “drop this damage skill and watch everything die” class and there’s never any need to combine abilities at all, partially due to bad enemy AI and partially due to bad mechanics and skill balance.

the game is focused on end game now. if you wanted to have an early game experience you missed by a year or two. everything they will develop now and in the future will be end game content, so why should they focus on beginning content? they just want you to level up to 330 where the fun starts.

dude, if you really wanted to do beginning content and cared so much, just do all the quests. see you in 3 months.

In Diablo 3 you poop on all monster and bosses while leveling your character. Then you start grinding for items. And grind forever.
ToS is a Korean Diablo 3. Don’t know what OP is even complaining about.

well, another crying cos they feel too easy, its remind me when people scream cos they fell too hard, huehuehue people never feel satisfied,

Back then when we need to kite and kill the minions before killing Shadowgaler in lvl 50 dg, a swashbuckling from a noob peltasa will wipe your entire team. Healers were really wanted in dungeon instances, now no one gives a damn if there’s none. The Clymen in Royal Maoseleum 3F, total jerk quest wall, it will make you experience dropping lots of gems. Who can forget about the Blue Spion Archers in Nahash Forest and their 1HKO arrow? It was a real game experience that teaches us when to wear plate or leather set when needed. Every map with magic damage monsters was a nightmare. Quests in four star maps required parties to finish, only doppels could solo while full CON clerics and wizards cry. In grinds, there was no swordsman only peltasa.

These are only some of the difficulties that new players will never experience anymore since game went casual mode.

Hopefuly, the new pve content would be more challenging.

you know, with some pardoner buffs (2k bless and such) you don’t need to worry about grinding and killing low level mobs, I mean, it’s just 3k silvers and you’re all buffed and ready to kill anything in front of you, for real! Man, what this thread is about anyway? :X

Back then the content is indeed too grindy and exhausting.
It took 2-3 months of everyday 4h to climb to lv280 with questing and dungeon.

Yes, I agree we still need retain that PvE difficulty in some maps and contents where peoples need to team together. Especially those maps will give better rewards (stats potion) and drop rate.

Oh i got oneshotted by one of these too once, then i’ve finally changed armor from the level 40 one to the right one

Miss the old days when you need to grind for hours just to get a level up. Those were the really good days when you need parties for questing and grinding. The only way you’ll need parties now is for ET and boss hunts. PVE content is just boring now. Well, overall. TOS got boring, why do I even bother playing. I guess TOS still has that tiny little space in my heart. :D:D:smiley:

Expect imbalance moments coz TOS is at beta test stage now and forever will be
