Puppeteer in this game is based on India’s puppeteer. I can already see it from the costume design.

They will control Kathputli, a puppet which is made entirely from wood, cotton cloth and metal wire. Kathputli is a join of two rajasthani language words Kath meaning wood and Putli meaning a doll which has no life. One finds its reference in Rajasthani folk tales, ballads and sometimes even in folk songs.

@evrencp cleric based classes are based off of religion.

i think this class fits best as an archer
it fits well as an wizard but fits 10x better as archer imo.
as erokhi said, they will be based on the india puppeteer.
have u seen any wizard class based off of real things? i dont think they would just add in one that does. so it fits with archer best

Many are troubled if Puppeteer will land on Archer tree, my thoughts about it & “Why”? -

  • Aside from OP’s description, were more likely related to wiz class but if this hidden class lands on Archer tree, here’s my possible reasons:

  • This puppeteer uses strings and not magic to control puppets, hence a sub-weapon of whip or rope like materials. Meaning of using this type of weaponty be close to projectile and so to speak for a marksman more than a wiz.

  • Strings might use to control monsters or another character, forcing them for commands for a brief time, or construct (not summon) a puppet under his/her control for her strategic use. (more likely commands a physical oriented army compared to wiz class).

  • And lastly using a puppet (in realistic note) doesn’t apply Magic tbh. It manipulator requires Dexterity and Precision in ordering or controlling the puppets Accurately point out the movements and expressions a puppet does. (And words Dexterity, Precision, & Accuracy doesn’t qualify for being a mage but a Marksman-specialist is more suitable for that matter of expertise.)

Hope these thoughts would explain that this hidden class be rightful for Archer class. Ty :wine_glass:

Archer2,Hunter2, Puppeteer, Falconer3

and just be followig all sorts of pets lol

Pup was one of my fav jobs in FFXI , it was a “monk” that used a puppet as pet (it was more like a robot ) u could install different atachments to make it a tank , archer , healer or nuker or mix it .
