I’ve never seen an MMO where offending players are rewarded. While those who have done nothing, receive rewards that do not even reach the feet of those who have taken advantage of some bug.
Yes, IMC, you have moved beyond the limits of the acceptable. Give rewards to players that take advantage of bugs? Are you doing this so you do not lose the players? Because it is having the opposite effect, because many will abandon the game because of this stupid act.

You obviously dont know what you are talking about. It wasnt just Battle bracelets and HG cubes that were affected by this bug. It was literally all monsters that had dpk items, which is literally every monster in game. So if you logged in during this week just to quest or even level up in HG you were pretty much banned. A lot of innocent people got caught up in this BS ban wave.
I think what’s more baffling to me is that the rewards are just different from the other set of compensation. Why not just give the same compensation or just a bit more of the same?

A bit more of the same compensation isn’t adequate compensation for being locked out of your account for 5-8 days.
They need better compensation for the players they decided to ban to investigate, in the event they were actually innocent. The compensation is for this “guilty until proven innocent” resolution.

I doubt it. I bet all those people saying they are going to quit will be right back playing next week. Cause lets be real there are better games out there then ToS but they choose to play ToS. If they really wanted to quit they would of left already.
They wont, there is a bunch of ppl that love easy to exploit games, they can get everything you did in one year in just a 2 hours.

ofcourse people will abuse the crap out of it, its only natural for humans to do. we want to obtain everything as fast we can in life.
when rich companies make mistakes, people will try to profit from it in real life as well.
you could twist it around and be thankful for the abusers to bring this bug to light so fast, rather then a couple people be aware of it and keeping it secret. the abusers made it so the damage is only about 72 hours. and IMC is thankful for that so they reward people for wasting their personal time testing this bug for them.

@Juhachi-kin only those who took massive amounts of items that are going to be banned. Some took only what was needed and still enjoyed it. Understand, IMC does not want to lose players, so it does these things.
@benofficial88 I’m not jealous, because I also have an account blocked even without taking advantage. But I find a disrespect and disadvantage for those who did not have an account blocked.
According to everyone on the forums since you are banned you 100% exploited.
So those who have not exchanged any items are safe and are not considered exploiters and will receive compensation for the restriction
