Revise pelt skill to be true tanker

I always love tank…those swordman wearing armor and tank for everyone. when i 1st want to play this game actually i want to be full tank but then i read comment that said full tank in this game is not good or great…

well turn out after i reach rank 7 and try all those content…and move up to rank 8…and see some full cons tank do action in those rank 8 map…well its true, true tank in this game just sux so bad…

well 1st…to be tank of course u need pelt for swash buckling…what good of tank if u cant aggro mob from attacking your team…but those provoke only good to gather mob…so basically even if u are full cons tank and put everything in tank skill, u can only tank yourself while watching your team die.

other than swash buckling skill, there no other good skill for tank…every tank dream is want to be a tank that are needed by party, can tank mob and tank boss atk…and protect your member…

so practically from those class pelt is the only good class to tank…maybe highlander have skill to block but without swash buckling still not good…so what need to be revise about pelt is some skill or new attb to become a full cons tanker that everyone need

1-Of course revise swash buckling skill, make it attract the mob and maintain the provoke for longer…

2-as a full cons tanks, everyone has this problem,. durability, if u tank all those mob in dg for sure your durability will out in no time…so to overcome this simply make attribute…or permenant attb to swordman circle 1…50% decrease durability…even got new enhancement it still not enough…the reason iam sure all swordman suffer from this…durability out in no time. adding this will make swordman and tank less burden in repairing and tanking.

3-make swash bucking attribute to -20/40/50% damage from all source magic or physical…maybe its OP but i tell it in point 4.

4-added some skill or revise or make attribute that link every damage party take to tanker…i know we have linker, but this works by trigger skill and maybe like 25/50% damage intake from member…basically its like shinobi clone…if u take 25% by 4 ppl u get 100% damage…so u will get 2x damage…so by making swash buckling attribute -50% u will get less…if boss attack is 20k…and taking another 20k…u will get half of boss atk and party member whose hp is low can survive…the reason to do this is, for end game boss fight at least we need to fight for real, not such a 3-5m fight…u can only see this in mega Wb, fight for more than 30m…by making this skill, for new end game, boss fight can deal massive AOE with high damage…and that the time when full tanker come in shine to protect its party member.

last and not least maybe revise some skill that more to party oriented and tank for pt…i didnt think more, but if they can make tanker shine in party and make everyone need tanker…its great for swordman player who always want to be shield hero for their team…make tanker tank boss attack, mob attack and help party in every way they can just like a full support. maybe add some party buff for physical DPS and Magic DPS…to make DPS need tanker more rather than 3 DPS in team…

If you’re suffering from durability loss, you’re tanking all wrong. A tank in ToS should not be trying to stand still with block up and taking enemy hits to the face; instead, you should be moving in such a way as to dodge most attacks while keeping enemies aiming away from your teammates. The block should be used as a contingency tool only. When your framerate skips and you get hitstunned, or you accidently hop into a basic trap, that’s when you rely on blocking. The tools of a full tank (as you say) should revolve around debuffs and cc. If you can stun an enemy, that’s less damage you need to worry about; if you can debuff an enemy’s armor, that’s more damage to the enemy. Thrust, Bash, Umbo Blow, Montano, Shield Charge, Shield Shoving, can all be used to keep mobs on lockdown (I only mention these skills because this is what I use). Bash is also a great tool to group mobs together for better aoe from your teammates.

i know…about those run and run around tanking…but where the fun of that…u suppose to be tank not running and running around…its kind of beat tanking purpose. the only time i running around and around is facing magic mob, well u know what i mean. btw if u running around and around u can just ask linker or Pd or chrono that having invest in full cons to hit and running around and around waiting to link them or create tree…you know why no one want tanker during dungeon/ET/Uphill…because this class i mention can do better job than your full cons tanker that only can provoke and do little damage.

and even with u running around and around…your durability still decrease faster than other class…because not only me, every swordman i know have this problen…because swordman meele class…while archer and wiz range class…a meele class need to have some buff to decrease durability loss not only from those enchantment.

that why i ask to revise swordman for tank, because ToS gameplay system never favor for tank…even you say this skill Thrust, Bash, Umbo Blow, Montano, Shield Charge, Shield Shoving…but the truth is non of this skill make so much different in later game…and nobody shout or ask for full cons tanker…they only shout for healer/chrono/linker/dps…if u make full cons tanker u better finding your own party member to do anything. the only good thing is people only want u during grinding. aside from that if u dont have your own team dont dream to go to ET or to full run 315 dg and be carry by your team.

Anybody can kite, but it takes a smart tank to keep mobs under control.

1 I think SB15 already attract enough mob
2we have enhanter and squire, I don’t think repairlv 16 isnt enough to do a full run dungeon unless you die)
3 IMO5-10% might okay but 50% is too OP
4 We have cleric’s guardian saint(hard to use though)
I don’t think use SB and hold C all the time is a good way for tank
If there’re something I want to change I prefer those pel skill generate more monster aggro(some thing similar to provoke)
And I don’t think full con pelt is that good if you miss atk you generate less aggro while has some dex help you hit enemies and may dodge some attack

i agree durability is a problem, everytime i taunt for my party my armor breaks

i can confirm durability is being changed soon, and your armor will degrade less depending on what level the armor is (more stars = degrades less)

I’m not a full con tank, I’m rounded with str/con/spr/dex.
