With the current fixed GBL rankings raises an old issue with the ranking system.
The current system doesn’t reward guilds to play
The current rankings show this, but for the sake of anonymity I’ll hide their names. For point of reference:
Guild A is a guild that wins most of their games.
Guild B is a guild that plays a lot but doesn’t win as much.
Guild C is a guild that plays once.
So how does the current ranking system look like at the end of it all?
Guild A has no problem.
Let’s say Guild B’s score is 5-9 (assuming +12/-12 points per game) they’ll end up at 952 points
Let’s say Guild C’s score is 0-1 they’ll end up at 988 points.
So according to this Guild C > Guild B.
How is this fair? Why would Guild B be motivated to queue?
I don’t have a proper solution but number of games played needs to be factored for the ranking system. This is the best time to address this old issue between seasons.

its not perfect but works better than this flawed elo system.
