Decided to return to the game after quite a hiatus. Currently looking for some decent Wiz route that can solo and still be useful in a party. Also I’m most likely gonna play PvE exclusively. Thanks for the help!
Depends on your playstyle. But as you want some solo one it narrows down to a bit of DPS focused ones.
Pyro with linker always good, agny meme still alive until combat rebalance. You can pick the rest with whatever you want as long as you have Pyro2Linker1 or 2, it’s able to solo anything throught all the game thanks to Agny. Up to your choice then, Thaumaturges for buff/farm, more linkers, chrono, pyro3 etc.
Wiz3Ele3WL2 is a great AoE focused damage build pretty sure it’s able to solo although cds are high.
Those are just the basic more common ones. Maybe play with Sorcerer or Necromancer, seems really fun to have those summons although actually sorcs are kinda unviable as it gets 1% SP drain and doesn’t let you regen until you desummon. And necros aren’t the top of the damage scale but if you don’t mind investing some points in buying the corpses you use on the skills they can be kinda useful for solo play, shoggoth and skeletons tanking and all. (if you take pyro3linker before necro your dps will always be top 1 tho even if you don’t use necros ability, thanks papa agny)
