Resetting choices

Greetings,

Given our new Class Reset Voucher I’m left with a minor issue. That is, I’ve got 4 midgame characters so far. 2 Fencers (lv. 250+ and 230+) a Monk (180+) and a Corsair (130+). With the Voucher I am planning to reset one of these 4 characters. Since the highest level Fencer is my main one I am not touching it most likely. And given my lack of free time lately I won’t be able to sustain two characters for dungeon grinding and such. This leaves me with one option: resetting the Monk or the other Fencer in order to open a shop to try and make some small ammounts of silver over time. Which one would you pick as a steady income source? Should one reset into a Doppel instead in order to use DPE in grinding contexts?

This is my personal opinion, but if you want a char to act as a seller I would turn one of the fencers into squire 3.

The reason for that is because leveling to squire 3 is much, much more painful than leveling a priest 3 -> pardoner 2 to sell buffs. First, pardoner 2 can stop at only rank 6 while squire needs rank 7. Secondly, a SPR or INT priest will kill stuff and level very quickly up to rank 5 because of Blessing and multi-hits. It will start to struggle a bit past rank 5 but Squires will have a much harder to level by themselves in any level due to the lack of damage.

Not just that but you have two high level fencers. Maybe in the future monks will get a rework here and there and what if you want to play monk again by then? Losing one fencer won’t matter that much because you still have the other…

Also, if you dont use a stat reset, a DEX squire is less worse than a STR/DEX pardoner.

Well again, that’s all my own personal opinion. In the end it’s all up to you.
