Circling from falconer is still useful when used with multi shot, caltrops, and covering fire, but its true potential shines when youâre in a party with others. If you plan on just solo grinding for itemsâor if youâre looking for something to primarily benefit yourselfâscout would likely feel more fulfilling.
At this point I would say nothing is for certain, rumours are Fletcher3 canât last on WB 280 (not enough inventory room for arrows? or damage falls off vs builds with large burst large cds over a super long fight). Rank 8 seems to be coming soon, which would mean potentially many more viable builds for every role. And stories are present of group-setups competition being overwhelming with a handful of fully optimized max or nearly max MA attribute full STR fletcher3 taking all the cubes. even your staple F3 on a WB that would be considered best for F3 may be considered at this moment no-cube without large gear/attribute investment.
But if I had to pick. F3 solo or with group - A2 path with choice of r4 pick or R3 path, or Dreamâs Scout3 with a group based around giving you capture aoes.
Thatâs definitely not true. Fletcher isnât really good for Aoe and burst, but if thereâs 1 thing that fletcher excels at, itâs single target sustained dps.
Your logic is weird. Why would a class that has low cd skill do less dps against a class with high burst high cd on a long fight. Itâs called burst, because it excels in short fights, not the other way around.
well I decided that for now, Im sticking with my Elememe and waiting for Rank8+ to decide which Archer build Im gonna roll
Fletcher does amazingly well on 270+ world bosses, the only ones it has trouble with are the ones that fly around a lot or destroy deployment skills constantly, and Rexipher has reflect damage so thatâs annoying as fck to deal with too.
kay thanks for clearing it up, it was just a rumour I heard in many other threads claiming that huge boss HP numbers makes fletcher lose out in the long run.
also, my reasoning was because you can many of those burst phases over a longer period of time. it was just a guess as to one of the reasons why the rumour above was.
Fletcher is unparalelled at sustained dps, the only thing i can imagine doing more damage is a Cleric2 Krivis3 Druid2 int build with 3-4 chronomancer supports all using pass in perfect rotations, but thatâs just too much effort.
guys how about rogue C3? no one talks about rogues XD
are they really only useful in pvp?
i know C1 is already really good, but how does (rogue C2,C3) backstab fair in ET or WBs?
Would also like to know thoughts on a3sc3m1 for PvE
I imagine the rotation would look something like: [Swiftstep and Cloak until combat] Snipe>Flare Shot>Headshot>Covering Fire>Multishot>Twin Arrowsx5>Cloak [to remove aggro and prepare for next rotation] and repeat.
The single target damage is quite significant and obviously gets spread around thanks to linker, however multi shot, covering fire and flare shot are quite prone to enemies sidestepping them.
The frustrating thing about taking M1 though is that itâs expensive getting a nice xbow, bow, manamana and a finisher.
