Rerolling PvE Paladin/inquisitor: which fillers should I pick up?

So, I’m gonna roll this inqui, finally.

I’m really thorn about which fillers I should pick up for my inqui, given that he will be a PvE toon and I would love to make an optimal build for ET.

So, even if it’s kinda clear that diev+monk gives the best DPS build, I don’t think monk bring enough utility to be worth a pick in a build focussed on party play and ET.

That’s leave me with the following utility classes (cleric 2 pally 3 inqui is a must, so I have 2 fillers):

Diev: -20% cd for the team plus a low level Zemyna

Priest: ress and monstrance, low level blessing

PD: Healing factor, bloodletting, fumigate, plus some utility free points.

krivis: daino ( I do have a crafter toon already btw) plus medium level zaicai(?)

kabba: ein sof

I dunno guys, the point is that I would love to have ress AND totems AND healing factor, which ofc it’s not doable :stuck_out_tongue: plus I kinda like a build with krivis+priest (with around 100 spirit, items included, for low level zaicai, monstrance and blessing) but I don’t know if skipping healing factor for ET is a nice idea ç_ç

Safe bet:

A) priest/pd: ress + healing factor -> conDEX

Alternatives:

B) krivis/priest: zaicai+ress -> (spr)conDEX

C) diev/pd -> totems+ healing factor ->conDEX

D) diev/priest-> totems+ress

I don’t like kabba only for ein soff honestly, and I don’t like diev 2 or priest 2, so this is my pool.

Pls help me, this stupid theorycraft is making me mad and I don’t want to screw the char at circle 3 :crying_cat_face:

My personal opinion would be to go with Priest/Diev. Ress is just that relevant, so in case you end up being the only cleric in the pt (which’s lilkely in a damage race situation) it’d be extremely needed.

As much as I like Zalciai’s crit res debuff, unless the meta DPS has totally changed in favor of physical classes, it’s not that much party utility (even if it’d help yourself). besides, monstrance already helps out a lot on that matter. Even in case physical AoE DPS gets to be super relevant, then a krivis 3 would likely come as first cleric choice (zalciai + meltis for SR’s skills and Glass Mole +80% pATK card effects).

Diev can never go wrong. Reducing CDs just works for everyone, especially parties with Chronos so pass’s CD also gets reduced making it so the relevant damage skills are more promptly available. Sttaionary statues still have the plus side of not taking too much time out of your DPS rotations. At last, having carve attack to hit the wheel will also be very relevant damage on a physical inquisitor against leather armor enemies or just to make use of its splash function.

PD’s always a great addition, but it’s simply that much better on a Diev 3 (INT build). In a small group setting, Owls+Vapour+Incinerate+pandemic contribute a lot to party’s damage. (And that’s not mentioning healing factor, and bloodletting as utilities)

I’m with you on the Kabba matter, so no further argument there.

Get priest at r3 if you want to do ET.

For rank 6 get Plague Doctor or Oracle (since you don’t like kabba)

  • Oracle is better at preventing dmg via counterspell. And forecast/prophecy help out a bit.

  • Plague Doctor is a better all round option. HP regen, condi prevention, pandemic and dmg via incinerate is hard to pass up on. Ideal with a linker2 to spread HF to the entire party.

Don’t grab krivis or diev at r7, it’s not worth it.

Oracle can save your skin during the boss fights.
So can pd due to HF + spiritual Link team set ups.

@Wurmheart It’s not that I don’t like kabba, I just think the utility is kinda on the lower side, unless krivis 3 are gonna be really popular (they will want sof to go with meltis) but even then, is it better then PD?

I do think that going for krivis/diev/monk at c7 is kinda wasted, even if the utility is still there… At least C2 Priest 1 Pally 3 will give me a lot of time to think about the c6 choice.

you can also go monk if you want to do more dps for a spammable double punch+some other atk skills (you will have to auto atk a lot if you have only smite/convinction/godsmash
