Hey, just got back from 3-4 months off~ Looking for a quick response in a nutshell based on confirmed current game mechanics if I should reroll my PvP shinobi?
Swrd c3, barb c1, corsair c2, Shinobi c1.
(went swordc3 for double slash, barb for cleave crit bonus and basic stun skill)
Since Team battle league, what are the more viable shinobi builds? And if mine is still useable what’s a good idea for R8?
Sadly, corsair Shinobis have quite a hard time keeping up at rank 8.
Right now, Sword-Pelt2-Rod3-Shinobi-Murmillo would be the best shinobi build around. Yeah, you’d have to wear a shield all the time and it doesn’t fit a ninja’s theme, but that’s IMC to you…
Rodelero’s C3 shooting star is likely the strongest burst clones can do right now, along with peltasta’s blows on high guard+murmillo’s multipliers.

Just curious, is pelt2 for high-guard? The build would let me make use of my old 1h swords at least.
Yeah, high guard has attributes to increase Pelt’s C1 damage skills Rim/Umbo blow, which gets even further increased by Murmillo’s Cassis (or whatever the helmet skill is called) + clones.
I just wish you luck if you decide to do the tedious Shinobi quest once again… (if you wait out, there’s talks of a possible class reset going on btw, likely not gonna happen but whoe knows)
you can try sw3>barb1>cors1>doppel1>shin for stun+aoe+hook
or
sw>hl3>cors>doppel>shin bleeding+armor break+ hook
or

imc is giving us a class reset, don’t reroll.
I use the same build except I have Pelt instead of Barb. Currently it’s the weakest Shinobi for PVE but the best for PVP imo if you have lv10 Iron Hook. While you were gone they buffed Cleave to also boost slash damage by 50% which will work nicely with Double Slash clones, great for PVE not so much for PVP because you rarely have that kind if time to setup.
The biggest problem we have is what to choose at rank 8 because none of the choices feel natural at all. Maybe Corsair3 feels the most natural but it offers almost nothing for damage. Maybe Dop1 for you since you have Barb.

Good build for PVP dont reroll or least try Murmilo. I want your build actually. Pretty strong in PVP.
I’m taking this build too, but with a little change: SW c2. Barb skills are more suitable for shinobi’s I think.
