That’s the other thing I was looking at is the real separation between Peltasta and Rodelero.
Peltasta gets the innate ability to manually block while Rodelero doesn’t.
Rodelero has many more CC and strike based abilities with a multi-hit combo at C3. Peltasta gets a stance change that will turn you into the tanking master as well as a ranged ability. The stance makes your 2 major money-making skills do stupid amounts of damage. Peltasta also gets a multi-hit ability with a cool animation to it at C3…but honestly, I don’t find much a reason to go past C1 for Pelt since I just need it for the block and Max HP+ as well as the aggro draw.
Rodelero just seems to have a healthy mix of skills and abilities as in, inflicting Darkness, Defense Down, Stun, Slow.
It’s a tight choice but I’ll stick with it for this CBT and see where it gets me.
Rodelero isn’t bad for what it can do, but choosing to invest a lot into Rodelero means you have to accept that your not there to do much DPS but to CC and apply effects/etc.

Rodelero seems to be a more pvp based class with its numerous debuffing attacks. For tanking, Pelta is still the best so far. For damage, you have many other swordies that outdamage Rode. For pve solo, the auto attack builds will have it easier not to mention use way less sp than the skill heavy Rode. I plan on going Rode1 for sure cause the cc skills at c1 are awesome for what they do. My interest in pvp will determine if circle up my Rode.
