Pls, make a option to hide shield and weapon, sometimes we just want to see our character without a shield on our back hiding our costume/hair 
U can do similar as hide hair costumes

Unequipping them is already a feature, been using them since beta 10/10

Monks have been asking for that since the beginning of this game.
Still praying IMC can plan such a thing though.
swap weapons attribute (any rank2 class) already allows to do that. Default keybind is alt+z. Although it can be glitchy sometimes.
And if you meant in battle then it makes no sense since your character fights with those.
